I think it works just fine. My machine thread kept breaking so I was only able to do a letter.. but it looks amazing

I received 8 sheets of black foam each of which measures 9 inches long by 6.25 inches wide by 3mm thick. The first thing I noticed about this foam was the chemical odor. It was very strong initially. After about 10 minutes of the foam being allowed to air out, the smell was reduced. The next day, after being in a closed bag over night, the odor was strong again. I'll leave the sheets in the open now to try and get rid of the smell. Performance-wise, this is great! I cut a small piece of the foam and chose a tapering stitch in the sewing section of my embroidery machine to test its strength. I was happy with how well the foam held up and popped out on the stitch line. I tested it under water and it stayed solid and in shape - so designs using this foam will be washable. I'll be able to stitch this onto clothing, hats, and even quilts to give a 3-D effect to my work IF I can get the odor to go away.

I did some big letters on my multi needle machine and it looked so good I had to called up my friend put her on video call and we were both amazed. The stitches were clean and the excess came off easily. Next project is a baseball hat. I'm so excited!

I’ve never been hit with a chemical scent so overwhelming. Product went out to the garage immediately and will probably go into tomorrow’s garbage pickup. I normally buy craft foam from local craft stores but this was already cut to the exact size I wanted so I bought a pack. I mean this odor is horrible and I shudder to think of what went into their manufacture that’s so different from what I’ve always purchased locally.

Works well so far! I would have liked bigger size options, but these are good for smaller designs. Arrived shrink-wrapped and secure.

This is pretty simple stuff, small, flat black sheets of EVA for projects. I don't personally use them for embroidery, but it's good quality EVA. Yes, it's a tad smelly at first. I suggest letting them air out a bit before using them. They're formable using the standard techniques for dealing with EVA (YouTube is full of cosplay costuming videos using EVA).Nothing unduly special, but exactly as ordered.

I understand that these may have an odor to them when I get them, but the odor is really strong, and I can't use them even after letting them air out a few days. Oh well I might be able to try again in a few months. These are nice and thick with even sides and straight cuts.

Good for smaller embroidery projects. I can also see many other uses. I will get this again. It would be nice if they had an option for a larger size. I have a bigger embroidery project I would like to try.
