I literally had just said that I loved this container! Then I sealed it and lifted to place on the counter. The top came off (even though I had sealed it) and glass and coffee flew everywhere! What a mess!!I am going to order again because I do not see one that I think will be better. But beware and make sure the lids is on correctly!!

This 1700ml jar holds 1700ml WATER, not beans! This holds appox 1.25 lbs coffee. Mabye a bit less.Do not buy this is you need a large coffee been storage jar!The jar and filter lid are really nice by the way, but I need one 4 times bigger, which Stacbear doesn't make.I defiitely want my money back.

This coffee canister (stackbear Coffee Canister with Premium Glass - Airtight Coffee Container with One-Way CO2 Valve and Freshness Tracker, Perfect for Coffee Bean Storage,57oz Large Capacity) is much larger than I had imagine. Most of the coffee beans I buy are in smaller packs that are 12oz so this being 57oz size means it's a lot of room for more beans. I emptied a 12oz bag into it and there's plenty of room left for another bag of whole beans that normally take up more real estate for the gaps between beans. I had another brand that was half full so I just put the bag inside to keep the beans separated but still benefit from the less air exposure.The lid goes on tight and the button works to break the suction but it still takes me a bit to lift it out. The date dial is functional, perhaps more so for ground coffee to keep track of when the bag was opened. I like it, it's a premium product. The only criticism I have is that the thin glass is slippery since it's tall and wide. You will need both hands to carry it around safely. I might stick on some grip tape dots around it so I don't accidentally drop it. I don't think this glass would survive a drop onto kitchen tile floors. Overall, I'm pleased with this product and it looks really nice in my coffee area, I like being able to see when I'm running low. I'm glad I was able to get this to try out.

I love the design that COâ‚‚ can escape while keeping my coffee fresh, but it took a few tries to get the hang of the valve. Now that I know how to use it, it works perfectly. I think I will taste out the great freshness for my coffee beans from now

This thing holds a serious amount, not just for coffee beans, big enough to store other stuff like nuts and snacks. Total kitchen lifesaver and organizer. So stylish setting on my kitchen counter!
