I use them to keep socks together. They are heavy duty and will last for many years. It would have saved me a lot of headaches ...losing socks if I had discovered them sooner.

Very well made. These have multiple possibilities for use. I thought of hanging curtains, using on a shawl or as scarf pin. Great price too.

It's a huge and very sturdy safety pin. I bought it to secure sheets to the mattress, but was unable topierce the fabric of the sheet, not to mention the thick upholstery fabric of the mattress. I tried to sharpen the point with a stone, but even with a sharp point it was extremely difficult to pierce the fabric. Plus, the pin left a 2-3 mm hole in the sheet.It may be a great pin for things knitted from thick yarn, but not for fabric.

My son keep broke the zipper on 2 hang up hampers for his closet. I purchased these to use in place of the zippers and it was a great choice.

I have coveted these since I saw In-n-Out employees using them to secure their aprons. They are huge and sturdy and so cool looking! I ended up using them to actually secure some jeans that had super huge frays in them. They were just too open for me, so I spaced these over the hole, and they ended up looking super stylish with a bit of a punk aesthetic to them. I got compliments so I ended up repairing holes in another set of denim shorts I have, and I think I have started a trend for people who don't want to sew! :D

These got one star because you can't write a review without adding at least one. I need large pins to keep blankets in place on my cat's beds. The pins I need should be able to penetrate the top blanket, sheet, and old comforter/bedspread. These pins couldn't even penetrate the top blanket, and it's a thin material! AND, I was using my leather work gloves to try and cushion some of the pain of pushing. I have the 4" which have a good point, but has trouble encompassing entire pile. However, I have now ordered another set of the 4", and will be returning the 5". Really too bad.

I have looked for a good pin to fasten knitted scarves for a long time. This industrial laundry pin is superb and could have a variety of uses. Also made of stainless steel - so really sturdy. Looks great - a real design piece. As a designer,I am over the moon with this wonderful pin.
