The boomerang is all made of bendable plastic, the one used for milk bottles, but much-much stronger and thicker, so you cannot literally crack or chip it away, but it scratches and dents just fine against hard rocks or asphalt. It would not say it flies pretty far because it weighs too light for a long flight and loses its aerodynamic force very soon to the oncoming airflow. My farthest throw averages 100 feet. I am planning to purchase a couple of more boomerangs and make up a case for them because I got tired of walking after a missed-shot boomerang up and down a soccer pitch, so don't make my mistake and consider buying at least two of them.

well.... after one good throw from my dad in a large hay field, I can officially say it got one good throw lol. Either we will find it, or the brush hog will in the spring. I bought 3 so we shall see (maybe in a field with shorter grass)

Since the bottom isn't flat it's not actually an air foil and so it doesn't fly as far or straight as one made by a professional. Still it is polypropylene and very durable

Huge boomerang that has poor aerodynamics. On a longer throw the thing just nose dives. Soft plastic that does not hold up well at all. Actual boomerangs are flat on one side, this is curved on both. It was poorly designed and is a waste of money. Worst Cold Steel product I have ever purchased.

Not as heavy as I thought they’d be after seeing the damage they did in multiple videos- they’ll take a beating, I don’t expect them to last forever but I’m definitely looking forward to the day I get to use this in the name of self defense 😂💪💯🤠gonna order a couple more pairs just in case. I love these things if you can’t tell. They’re not terribly sharp but with the right amount of force it doesn’t matter. I guess you could use it to hunt- it’s capable- but please don’t 😅 nothing about this is humane and I dig it.

I was initially satisfied but after about 15 throws in the forest, I missed my target and hit and oak tree. About 1/3 of an inch snapped off of one tip. I had already ordered 2 more because it would be easier for target practice. I was pretty let down because I read good things about these and wanted to use them to hunt small game. Either I got a bad one or it isn't as durable as they say.UPDATE:A couple months later, these things are pretty chewed up. One hit a piece of rebar (by accident) and broke the rebar. But it took a decent chunk of plastic from the edge. I suppose that's pretty good considering everything else would have exploded on impact. I moved it to 4 stars. I'll just keep 2 new ones for hunting and keep these 3 to keep practicing with.
