I frequently by this type of solenoid from other suppliers and they always include the nuts for attaching wires to the terminals. This one does not so I had to buy 5/16 and #10 nuts to install. The nuts shown in the picture are for holding the studs to the housing.

January 28th I was given equipment that only ran with the start of a Screwdriver. Many of days were started with getting judged by the fact if I lost my screw driver my equipment would not run. After many of different people tried to fix the solution it was never to be fixed. During the months a great starter was lost due to the screwdriver and the power something so small could carry. Yea the screwdriver has burns but not enough damage to keep from doing its job. We would discuss are issue with higher ups hoping for a Start Solenoid but only to get what we didn’t need. The possibility of being electrically shocked by the misuse of the screw driver became an all time high to where some people were scared to start it. So 1 night in September which was 8 months later we had found this Blessing on Amazon and ordered it. After the excitement 2 guys shared we were only to be let down saying it would not fix the issue. I received the box the next day and in such a small box laid something so powerful. The old heart was taken off and the new heart of the equipment was installed. Once the power had came on and the start switch was engaged the Pump Gods said let there be life and life was given to an abused and neglected pump. At that moment the pump and I became 1 and the screwdriver was to never be used again in inappropriate ways.

This solenoid does require 24vdc to engage. It will not disengage @ 48vdc with high current >150A. If you use for a different application, it may work fine. Althought this may not be the entended application the product was designed for.
