Coleman Instant Tent with 1-Minute Setup, 10-Person Tent with Pre-Attached Poles, Air Vent, & Carry Bag

We bought this tent to go camping with friends for 3 days. It was really easy to assemble. It took about 3 minutes. It is very well made. It is water proof. We did not have any leaks at all inside. I loved that I had plenty of room to stand up to get dressed and to have my queen size air mattress. It doesn't come with a top rain flap so you do have to purchase that separately. I didn't realize this till we got to the campground. It doesn't affect it being water proof it just allows you to keep the windows open if it's raining and rain won't get in. I would definitely purchase this tent again because of its ease of use and it's great construction.

UPDATE 6-person tent on the beach:I took the 6-person tent camping on the beach. Over-all it held up really well. I got it up in under two minutes. Then the wind kicked up. I would recommend that if the wind is over 10-15mph, don't go. I had to anchor all of the corners and use the tether lines with heavy duty tent stakes (I purchased separately) to keep it anchored to the ground. When trying to take it down, I recommend closing the door and leaving the windows half-way up just to release the inner air. I tried it first with the door and windows all of the way open and the tent kept blowing up like a balloon which kept causing the legs to reextend. It was nearly impossible to take down. I had to really struggle to try and get it to collapse. I never had this problem with my traditional tent where I could just remove the poles. With no wind, I would say it is perfect.UPDATE 6 - Person Tent: I replaced the 8-person tent I had to throw away with the 6-person version. OMG - SO MUCH EASIER!! I was able to get it up by myself in around 1 minute and take down - back in the bag within 2 minutes! I went through the whole process twice just to make sure! The tent fabric is thick and feels very durable. The floor is the thickest I have ever seen on a tent.... It's like a heavy duty tarp. So far I am really impressed! I changed my overall rating from 1 star for the 8-person to 5 stars for the 6-person! I will write another update after I take it to the beach in a couple of weeks and see how it holds up there.ORIGINAL PURCHASE 8 - Person tent:I have been camping for over 40 years. I selected this tent because it advertises as "instant-tent with 60-second easy assembly." So much better than the hassle of dealing with multiple poles... right?The 8-person tent has 6 legs; one in each corner and one on each side where there is no door. It was like trying to wrestle an angry octopus - seriously!! It requires a bare minimum of 2 people (and four people would be better) to set it up. You have to raise all of the poles at the same time or it will just keep collapsing in different directions. It took us over half an hour of struggling to get it up. I was exhausted and sweaty at the end.One of the poles bent the first time the tent was up (not sure how, it wasn't manhandled and no wind or anything) and it will no longer contract or expand. And the fabric was thin and saggy... as well as the floor. I don't think it would hold-up in the wind or rain at all.Taking it down was just as difficult as setting it up (or more so) because the poles kept collapsing every which way. You can't take them all down at the same time unless you have 6 people. So we had to figure out how to manually fold and realign the legs from the big tangled pile on the ground in order to get the tent to fold back up for transport.I bought this tent because it was supposed to be easy!! Maybe the 4 or 6-person tent that only has the 4 corner poles would be much easier to manage; but this 6-pole 8-person model is a nightmare! I threw it away. I could have tried to return it for the refund but with the bent pole that would no longer contract, I couldn't get it back in the box! UGH!!!!!!

*** update 8/1/23 First rain. No leaks! I do love this tent, however I still worry about future leaks due to design. Water does pool in window flap areas. In a longer storm, will ultimately leak, I fear. Poor design. The optional rainfly should be extended to more fully cover. Camp with a tarp to toss over it. It remains great for headroom and size. My next tent will be a Coleman due to their great customer service, but not this model! ***7/23 update on review.... I reached out to Coleman regarding the issues cited below in my original review and my concerns were immediately addressed as the tent was still under its one year warranty. I merely had to fill out a form send in pictures and they immediately sent me a brand new tent. I am hopeful that this one will not have the same issue. I am reassured that Coleman stood by their name and replaced this product. Once the replacement tent hits the rain, I will update this review again as to how it stood up. But, in the interim at least you know Coleman does still stand behind its name if you have an issue!Original review 6/23....I was so excited about this tent. I've had Coleman tents in the past and have never had an issue and they held me safe and dry in every storm. Not this one! I am so disappointed. I've used it a couple of times in good weather. It is so easy to set up. I absolutely loved it.... until today. First rain storm. Every and I mean every seam leaks! The windows are just channels for the water to come in. I should have listened to all the reviews I read about leaking, but I had such faith in Coleman that I didn't. I had even treated this with a sealant before I even used it but obviously that's not going to make any difference if every single seam leaks!!! Oh and yes I did buy the rainfly. Doesn't make any difference if every seam on the side walls leaks! So disgusted! Don't buy it unless you're going to always camp in perfect weather. Then, you'll love it.

Zelt ist super einfach auf-und abzubauen, was ich nicht verstehe ist, was sich die Entwickler dabei gedacht haben, die Fliegengitter allesamt außerhalb zu "montieren". Wie soll man da die Vogelsch..... sauber wegbekommen ohne das ein Rest sich irgendwo noch hält. Da wo die 3 Reißverschlüsse bei der doppelten Türe zusammen kommen, können die sich auch noch was überlegen, da bei Regen eine große Pfütze im Innenraum war

Me pareció justo el tamaño para estar 4 personas cómodamente, caben 4 colchones individuales y queda como 1 metro de pasillo, se arma muy fácil de hecho lo hice yo solo, y al desarmar si necesite poca ayuda sobre todo para volverla a meter a la bolsa, pero nada imposible, lo único que no encontré fue alguna entrada para el cable de luz pero bueno lo pasamos por la puerta principal, compre el RainFly para mayor protección aunque no nos llovió si sirve para que no entre tanta luz. La calidad me parece buena y es totalmente hermética si la cierras toda, no tiene alguna salida de aire por el piso como otras casas; que para noches frías esta bien pero si note que condensa algo y se sienten húmedas las paredes por adentro en la madrugada, pero bueno no es algo que nos molesto.
