I have owned at least a half dozen of these air mattresses. The mattress itself is first rate: well-made, sturdy, holds inflation well. The last varies from unit to unit, but is generally reliablly maintains inflation. My only reservation is the built-in pump which should be a great convenience. I find them generally weak and they deplete batteries way to quickly. I might get one great inflation, and then the power depletes and the inflation slows to a crawl. I get great results with my electric pump: quick inflation in seconds. The mattress would be a better buy without the unreliable and ineffective pump.

We purchased these when moving to our new house to use before our furniture arrived. We figured it was a better deal compared to a hotel and quieter. We didn't expect to love them this much! We really slept like legs. They're very comfortable- maybe a lot more than some hotel beds! It inflated like a charm. No work for me. They're great to have for extra guests and for travelling.

I will be testing this out camping next week but I am not writing a review without any knowledge. I set this up in my truck tent which is also being tested in my driveway and left it for 2 nights and 3 days. So far I would say its good.It inflated quickly and has enough power to provide ample firmness in the inflate process. laying on it I would say it offer pretty decent comfort. Lets put that into perspective. I bought this for camping. I am moving from off the ground tent camping with no pad or mattress to truck bed tent with air mattress. So if you are using this in your home and comparison is different this review might not be for you. What to know. Air mattress stretch from inflation pressure over time and air molecules expand and shrink with temps. What this means is that it is not uncommon for the firmness to need to be adjusted. With that I felt it held pretty good over the first night but with varying temps it needs more air by mid second day. No problem ...turned it on and air it back up in seconds. I wanted to include because some will think its leaking.I ordered twin because that is what would fit in my truck bed. (Jeep Gladiator) fine for 1 person and I am 6'0 tall. Any taller and I would say it is short.Value is overall good but I was disappointed that the Queen was being offered on sale at the same price but no discount on the twin.

I bought this for a camping trip. I inflated it and deflated it with 4 brand new energizer batteries the night before the trip and it worked. When deflating, it makes a noise so you know you turned it off. When I got to the campsite, it was still in the "off" position. But the batteries were dead. I took them out, put them back. Still dead. Turned them every which way I could, dead. That's $10 in batteries wasted. I made myself dizzy trying to blow the worthless mattress up. I got it in the end and tried to sleep on it. I'm 5 foot 9 180 lbs, not exactly a giant, but even with my head at the very top of the mattress my feet were hanging off. The mattress lost some air in the night. It wasn't terrible, not great, just ok. You might want to bring back up batteries if you invest in this mattress. Or just buy a manual air pump, which kind of defeats the purpose of a battery powered air mattress. Do not recommend.

Update October 2024: Still love it! Have used on several more 2 night trips.I have used on three x two night camping/fishing trips so far and its very comfortable and has held air perfectly not even needling any “top offâ€. I love the built in inflator. Toss in the tent and turn on, you can hear when it’s full in a few minutes. But like even better the deflate feature which makes packing it up a breeze. I deflate, trifold, roll it up, give it one more brief deflate and stick it in a small two handle duffel bag to make carrying easy. The velvety surface is very important feature as it prevents your sleeping bag from sliding off as camping spots are rarely level. This mattress is relatively heavy and bulky so not a mattress to take backpacking for miles. But can’t beat it if you don’t have to transport far. Original 4 D batteries still working fine but I pack a spare set just in case. You could blow up by mouth or with an external inflator if you forget batteries.

This is hands down the best air mattress I’ve ever owned. As a twenty four year old moving into a new place, I knew I was going to be leaving pretty much all my furniture behind, including my old bed. Purchasing an air mattress as a temporary sleeping arrangement was an absolute necessity as I saved enough to buy myself a real bed.A know a few people mentioned the mattress loosing air, but in the five weeks I’ve slept on this, I’ve only had to add air three times. Three times in five weeks!!! And it’s not like it was deflated, I just noticed it was squishier with time. But no problem it was an easy fix!The built in pump is my favorite; I love that it’s cordless. Four D batteries will be necessary. I used Rayovac and they worked wonderfully and I didn’t have to change them out. Honestly this would be fantastic for camping. The mattress was comfortable, and honestly no problem to sleep on. And even though I am happy that I can retire it now that I have a “real bedâ€, I’m certainly holding on to it. It’s now deflated, rolled up, and tucked safely in my closet. I’ll pull it out as needed when I have friends staying over. Before storing, I do recommend removing the batteries.I purchased this on sale, but it’s worth every penny. Heck I’d pay full price for it.

I really, really, really wanted a Aerobed air Mattress. Had Aerobeds for camping, they were tough and comfortable. From what I understand, they do not make them anymore. I purchased the Coleman that was closest to my previous air mattress. I took it out of box and inflated it, rolled around on top of it. I think it will be OK, I will find out this hunting season. I am worried about the toughness of this Coleman air mattress. Materials used don’t seem Durable. I do like the inflatable controls.

I tested many inflatables in the market including several other Coleman mattresses, I haven’t seen anything with this convenience and comfort ratio! The imbedded pump in it inflates and deflates the mattress, makes it easy to set up your tent or repack it in the pouch! If it’s not pumping fast enough, chuck in there new high grade batteries and you wont be disappointed. My tip would be to always cover it with sheets as it has a suede type cloth that reduces the sound when you move but gets stained easily! Overall, I can’t find anything better for any situation for this cost!

We needed a portable bed for when our daughter from out of town stays over. It is a great size (although some reviews said they wished they bought a queen). The dimensions are just fine for one person. It deflates to the size of a basket ball for great storage.I was skeptical about the pump but was highly impressed. I have had many experiences with air pumps and I thought it was quiet. It both inflates and deflates in around three minutes. The deflation is great so you don't have to jump on the mattress and roll it to get the air out. In fact, if you use just the pump you never have to touch the valve!!!Very happy!
