Yes, I know they’re expensive, but they’re so worth it. When you buy these microphones, you will keep them the rest of your life. I use them for acoustic guitar and overheads. They have a heavy bodied thick sounding microphones. Get very sturdy microphone stands! Do NOT put these mics on cheap stands. You’re welcome.

I bought these to record trumpet. I’ve been very impressed with them. They live up to their reputation!Pair them with a good audio interface for best results. My old setup was MXL R144s and a Behringer interface. I now use these and a Universal Audio Apollo X Twin Duo. The difference in recording quality is really clear.
