Time will tell how well it works to help wildlife know my dog is coming but the bells were nice quality and decently loud.

These are nice bells if your animals aren’t to rough in them one came damaged but the other 3 I put on my goats to see how long they will last

I bought these months ago and was happy with them as a warning bell for animals to run in my backyard from my hunting dog. However, after a few weeks the inside bell piece became detached and the bell was now useless. They give you four in a pack probably for this reason. Well I’m on my last bell because the same problem happened with the first three. I would not buy these again for this reason. They are not sustainable over time.

I’ve put these bells on my dog and the leather straps have torn off after one used I would not recommend them

I hate to say this, but I do not recommend these bells. At first they were so cute and I thought they’d be perfect for my little dairy goats collars. Unfortunately the little fake leather strap snapped on all of them in less than 48 hours. The bells then got lost for a couple days till I had to go out and find them and the bells themselves rust pretty bad in that short time. They were the perfect size and sounded pretty.

Timing is everything and these arrived just in time to put to the test. Our new dog is a herding dog with lots of energy and we live in town so have to look for other ways to exercise him and keep him happy. Besides the dog park and walks we like to go to conservation areas and allow him some time off leash to just be a dog. He got overly excited one day and went quite away into a very brushy area and it took awhile to get him back. The bells easily snap on his collar, and they did not bother him at all. We were able to hear him clearly when he got a little off track, and they seem to help him respond better to voice commands when we want him to come closer to us. We only use one bell and it does the trick. it seems like a simple solution and it actually works, and now hopefully he can no longer sneak up on those wild turkeys.
