I bought these pencils for a daycare I work at. The five year olds in my classroom started accidentally breaking these pencils on the second day we had them. It takes very little force to break, but as they were only 2 dollars a box for 12 boxes I guess you get what you pay for.

I received one box of these pencils. They're definitely not for professional artists, but work just fine for kids and hobby coloring. Not very vibrant or saturated

These aren't great colored pencils. But if you need a large stock of them for the cheap, these will do fairly well. These arrive with a nice pre-sharpened edge, and each box has a decent collection of colors. However, the boxes are predictably cheap so they don't last with rough handling. The pencils are very waxy feeling, and they don't resharpen that easily. The colors are very washed out, but with the right paper that is okay.

I'm no artist, but I attached an image showing soft/hard use of the colors to give you an idea of the colors they produce and the range of saturation you can get. I pushed VERY hard to get the darker crescents.I don't like to be mean, and I tried to find reasons to justify 2 stars... but they were things like "the cardboard box is perfectly adequate," which felt like I was reaching. These adequate things (like the box, or the pre-sharpened nature of the pencils) were also things I've never had a problem with on any other pencil ever... so it doesn't feel like it really wins them any points.Ok, first problem is they have a very waxy feel when coloring with them. This leads to several flakes and pills all over your artwork so you have to rub it and blow it to get rid of all the excess flakes. It also feels unpleasantly scratchy somehow as you color.Additionally, the colored lead has inconsistent firmness as you progress through it. 1 part will be more or less waxy than the next, leading to inconsistent shading. It also leads to 1 section of lead being able to wear out as a nice broad stroke, whereas another section of the lead won't and instead wears into a jagged point.The colors, for the most part, are quite washed out. This could be acceptable, but I'd expect them to be labeled as pastel or soft colors.Lastly, the pencils themselves aren't labeled with a named color, and the color of the casing of the pencil doesn't match the color it produces on the page. Either they need names, helping to temper expectations, or the casing should be colored lighter to match the output.My advice to the manufacturer is to rework the lead from scratch. This waxy lead will never be good. All the other critiques could be overlooked if the lead were decent.
