It seems like all kids love these. They hold their scent for a remarkably long time. We got this pack to put in goody bags and kids from age 1 to tweens all seemed to enjoy smelling them.

I included a scented pencil in a favors bag for each child who came to the birthday party. They were a hit amongst the 9-10yo. The scents are strong and long lasting, and most smell like the item they represent. Pineapple was the biggest hit! They are pricey for a pencil, but I think they would make a nice treasure box gift or a party favor for special occasions. I loved collecting scented pencils and erasers as a kid of the 80s, and it was nice seeing kids still enjoying them too.

I love these Smencils. I have been ordering Smencils for years. The scent lasts long. The packaging is nice, with each pencil contained in a tube with a topper. The only negative I can think of is they have soft lead. But that's not that important. I'm happy they're made from recycled paper.

My daughter loves these! And it makes homework so much fun… They smell great, they’re super cute, and they add a little special touch to reading and writing. We love these… And I bought them as gifts… People rave over them! Highly highly highly recommend.

My son got a couple of these pencils from school and was excited about them. So, me being the awesome dad that I am, I went on the hunt for some more of these pencils for him. I wanted to find something different that was offered at his school and this set did just that. He loved the little characters on the pencils and also the smells. Much to my surprise, a lot of the smells were spot on. Rootbeer is my favorite and it blew my mind just how well it smelled like rootbeer. In my opinion, this pencil set is well worth the price.

Bought these for my 8 year old daughter and she loves them. Each pencil has strong scent and it helps they are stored in individual tubes to retain it. Not cheap, but a good way to encourage writing
