I bought these for my daughter but borrowed some of the clips for my toddler who has more fine hair. My older daughter has thicker hair than her sister but these work in her hair and my toddler's. Everything that this set comes with has all been used and not only are they easy to use but when it comes to taking the bands out of my daughter's hair, it doesn't pull or tear her hair out. I've even used some of the clips myself and not only are they easy to put in but I never felt as though it was pulling my hair out while they were in. Not to mention, when I put them in, they didn't scrape my scalp like some have before. These are really great for thick or fine hair but more importantly, it doesn't pull out my daughter's hair.
