I ordered the 12" x 18" black windows to use in our chicken coop. All pictures and 'Rufus' both stated the external dimensions are 12" x 18". This led me to believe the internal was smaller.I just wanted to state that that is not true. The internal measurements are 12" x 18" and is what you need to frame up to mount the window. The external measurements are 13.5" x 19.75" from lip to lip.Otherwise, windows came nicely packaged and quickly. Will be perfect for what I need.

Excellent, well made windows. The measurements are exact for the cut out to fit the window into. Opens and closes smoothly and the glass is clear. Packaged well. I am very pleased with such nice windows for the price.

Looks great, and easy to install. Just trace the window onto your shed, use a reciprocating saw to cut the hole, screw it in with some flashing and weather sealing, and boom! New windows on your shed. It’s nice that it comes with included screens, and the process is remarkably simple, so it’s an easy one-afternoon project!

Exactly what I needed for a well house garden shed just to get some light in there and to be able to open it up to air out in nicer weather.They also make the well house look nicer and match the other buildings on my property that also have the darker frames.Screens keep the mud daubers and red wasps out that otherwise would be in there making nests in 15 second if you let them.The price for two windows is about the same as just one window from the big box home improvement retailers, so the value is excellent.The overall quality and operation is good and they open/close and lock without issue.Easy to install with nails or screws and are self-flashing and use some tape flashing and trim out like a normal window.Made from aluminum so they will not rust or corrode.Shipped and received fast.Very satisfied and can definitely recommend.5- Stars!

Cons - manufacturer needs to do a better job with packaging because it is a miracle they survived their trip from China. The screens did come loose and need to be resplined. Directions aren't great and there are no videos on how to properly install. In the directions they show a guy cutting a hole with a chainsaw.I am guessing these don't need an internal frame or header. I suppose if you have thick enough siding it may be enough to hold them however we will frame ours in just to be on the safe side. They are a little different than the vinyl windows we have bought in the past so better directions would be appreciated.Pros- love the safety glass - super hard to find. Easy to open and close, made of metal so it should hold up well. Nice quality - light and easy to carry (we have the larger windows). A few of the corners were bent but it is super easy to just bend them back. Comes with a large bag of stainless steel screws. Grids and glass seem very high quality. Overall a nice product. We are building a chicken coop and a rabbit barn and these will be perfect for providing light and ventilation.
