These boots are fully waterproof on the outside and have good tread. The top inner part is fuzzy but further down it's just a plain boot, which is good because they aren't getting smelly from my kid's feet and being in snow daily. They withstand mud pretty well too. True to size. Thought about deducting one star because while I like the cinch laces, they are so long that once the boot is pulled tight there is a lot of lace flopping around that needs tucked in. Much more lace than you would need even to expand the boot fully over some thick socks. Overall I'd purchase these boots again.

Look good, comfortabe, and have held up well in the snow.I really like the fact the COLUMBIA has children's boots in all sizes. The last 'little kids' size is '13.5'. After that, the next size up should be 'big kids' size 1. I can't belive how many manufacturers and sellers do not have 'big kids' sizes 1,2,3, they go from 'little kids' 13.5 to 'big kids 4, completely skipping 'big kids' 1,2, and 3.I purchased a pair of 'big kids' size 1, which fits a foot size of 7-3/4" - 8".

We've tried other Winter boots for hiking and always go back to these. They're warm but lightweight. Work well with microspikes or snowshoes as needed. Couldn't ask for a better boot. Have used them in subzero temperatures and on hike distances over 5 miles.

Love the look of them. My son told me the other day everyone in his class’ feet were cold, but his were nice and toasty at recess. I also bought a boot dryer at the same time and I haven’t had to use it yet! They keep my sons feet warm and dry all day

Mon fils les aime ,elles sont chaudes adapté pour l'hiver canadien ,je les recommande à 100/100 ,ils sont imperméables à l'extérieur ,s'il y'a des flaques ou la neige fondante ,c'est pratique . J'achèterai les mêmes une fois petit .Merci
