I love these clear backer boards—nothing like displaying a wrap-around cover where you can actually see the back of the book.

These are much thicker than anticipated and I have struggled to fit these in a bag with a comic. One of the boards also had some wrinkles in it which was very annoying. Keep in mind these are essentially a square piece of plastic.

This is an ultra premium, ultra thick backboard for comics with a back cover that you want to display. I found this product well-made, extremely sturdy, and well worth the money. The primary thing I am worried about is the long-term protection of the comic book that it is enclosed with. I don’t know enough about the composition of the board to say that it is archival safe, so only time will tell. If what I read is true, it has the same composition as mylar comic bags, so it should last forever. However, without any buffered type of paper or board in the bag with it, what is to prevent the buildup of acid in the comic paper from destroying the comic itself? Seems to me the best storage would be to put buffered micro chamber paper inside of the book, then put this board in a mylar bag and seal it .Edit to add content. These boards fit snugly into a Standard size E. Gerber mylar bag (7 1/4") Once you put this board in with a comic, it's nicely snug and gives me confidence the comic won't shift around too much.

These are GREAT! They are really thick and not usable with thicker comic books like the New Mutants Special Edition. These are great for the wrap around chrome covers like X-Men Alpha/Omega.

They work well with Mylar bags that are 7 1/4 in width. Excellent protection. The only downside is that you only get 5 for 15 bucks. Expensive.

These board are far too thick to fit in a standard silver age size comic bag. I could barely squeeze the board in, let alone manage to fit a comic in with it. As is, these boards are unusable and just a good way to mess up your comics. Highly recommend not buying this item.
