I am a videographer and there is no other microphone on the market like this.

Wow! I really don’t know where to start with this microphone, but I’m totally impressed. I tried in it various scenarios including using the receiver into a camera, a recorder, and a computer. For the computer, I was using OBS software which worked very well. The distance you can go from the receiver is awesome and I had no problems with audio dropping.The noise cancellation is also excellent. I spent most of my time indoors with the microphone, but the couple of times I was outdoors I found very successful in limiting wind noise. The battery lasts for a long period of time on both the microphone and the receiver. I never ran out, but I typically keep everything charged up. One of my very favorite features is the internal recording. So far I’ve been able to use everything recorded from the receiver, but it is great having a backup available and the internal recording sounds great. Internal recordings are in .WAV format.If there is one thing I don’t like, it’s the menu. There is nothing indicating on the microphone which buttons to press for options. For example, depending on what you want to do you must press and hold or press two buttons or short press buttons. I have other equipment like this, too, so I just can’t remember all the various selections. I ended up writing a “cheat card” so I can remember what I need to do.The build quality of the microphone is very good and is machined metal. The receiver is a plastic and seems good quality, but would be nice if it also were in metal. However, not a real deal breaker.You also get a carrying case for the microphone. It is nicely made. It has two separate zipper sections and I like how the accessories (dead cat and windscreen) are separated from the microphone and receiver. The microphone/receiver section also houses the shock mount and microphone stand and everything is kept well protected in foam. When shut, the case is a rectangular shape which I like. Rectangular shapes, as opposed to odd shapes, are easier to pack with other gear in large cases.I found this microphone overall to be excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

If you are a serious videographer, there comes a time when you want and need a shotgun microphone that can pick up the ambient sounds of nature or the cityscape surrounding you. And those ambient, delicate sounds of birds and distant human voices, or dynamic sounds of faraway traffic, are a challenge to capture with fidelity. Even the more common situations like talking head interviews with a seated subject are enhanced emotionally by clearly capturing the subject's actual voice tone as well as the ambient room sounds.The audio specs of the Comica VM-40 are impressive, with super cardioid pattern capture of 48kHZ/33-bit sound via 14mm mic capsule. It has two low-cut noise filters to eliminate background noise. If you need REALLY good sound captured with your video, this is the shotgun microphone that delivers. Incredibly, it runs both wired and wirelessly.The entire package is well designed. I have the single mic (not dual mic) package and the carry case amply holds everything together. They include quite a few accessories in this generous wired/wireless bundle:> Comica VM-40 shotgun mic with 32GB of built-in storage allowing backup of 40 hours of uncompressed audio files> both a spongy windscreen and furry dead cat wind muff> shock mount with attached cold shoe adapter for mounting to top of a camera> Comica VM-40 wireless RF receiver module to run the mic wirelessly, up to 200 meters range> adjustable stand adapter with 3/8" male screw at one end (can be attached to a hole in the bottom of the Shock Mount) and at the other end is a 5/8" female screw hole; obviously, this allows for attaching a boom pole so the mic can be manually held over actors/interviewees by a sound person; it can also be attached to a tripod using either the 5/8" to 3/8" and/or the 3/8" to 1/4" screw adapter> Comica branded audio cables for running the microphone in wired mode: one 3.5mm TRS-TRS and one 3.5mm TRRS-TRRS cable> one USB-C/USB-A charging cableWith this much versatility, the included instructions must be read at least once to figure out the buttons and settings that sit on top of the microphone. It's relatively easy to figure out. There is also the Comica Audio app to download and install on your smartphone for remote monitoring and intelligent control system via bluetooth. The app is available for both iOS and Android platforms.The quick adjustability of mic settings is the best I've seen. There is a gain knob on the back end of the mic, with clearly labeled numbers from 10 down to 1. And the Comica app allows for adjustment of the mic settings remotely. The microphone is a credible piece of professional gear if you just stay within the battery life's limit of 32 hours in wired mode and 10 hours in wireless mode. I highly recommend this if you are looking to up your game and invest in high quality sound. The versatility means you are gaining high quality for ALL your recording situations.

These wireless mics work really well. Easy to set up and great sound, with no hissing or background noise. Having the ability to go wired or wireless is also a plus. Over all good light mics that should last the test of time. Lol actually I am sure they will become obsolete before they ever break down.

The 32G onboard recording is fantastic because it allows me to record directly to the microphone without needing extra equipment, which makes it so much easier to capture high-quality audio on the go. The sound quality is crisp and clear. It’s also very versatile, as it’s compatible with both cameras/camcorders and smartphones, which is great for my different setups. The wireless design ensures that I can move around freely without worrying about tangled wires. The setup was simple, and the mic connected quickly to my devices without any issues. Moreover, the build quality is solid, and it feels durable, which is important for on-the-go filming.

Hier hat man noch mal ein schon sehr gutes Mikrofon deutlich verbessert.Die wichtigste Verbesserung ist der integrierte Speicher. Somit wurde das Mikrofon auf die Höhe der Zeit gehoben und ist somit auch wieder gegenüber Rode Konkurrenzfähig.
