I love 3m command adhesive since my college days. They hold surprising well and usually peal off without issue, but I have had issues with wall paper but I wouldn't count out the wallpaper was poorly adhered to the wall. I do avoid the clear ones, they tend to give me more trouble. The metal sawtooth hook are very nice too. I've hung picture wire with them too. I've also used them with things that are designed to hook over a screw like power strips and landline phones.

Over been using this product for years , used correctly you’re not likely to have problems.I’ve used them on texture in walls, but that’s when they might be more likely to fail depending on how textured the wall is and weight of object being hung.

I love these. I lost the actual hanging pieces for my monthly planner and I found these to hang it up. The are sturdy and leave no marks on the wall.

These command hooks are a life-saver if you do not want to or cannot drill holes in your walls. In the picture, you will see that we have a HEAVY, solid wood coat hanger with several heavy winter coats on it and our mail, held up by TWO of these nails. Just two! And it has been up for months with no problem. However, they give you this long metal piece with a nail on the bottom, so when you hang something on it, the metal sticks out from the top (some more than others, depending on what you're hanging) and is really unsightly. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. I also added a picture from my classroom, where I used these command hooks to hang a canvas print, and you will see the metal sticking out from the top.EDIT: I have since flipped the nail over so that it doesn't show, but the ones we had holding up our winter coats fell off after two days of the new position and took a big chunk of the paint off with it. I'm not sure if the weight was distributed better when they were "upside-down" or what- but I am a little disappointed!!

I'm a fan of double sided velcro tape . I usually use that to hang my frames since I rent and try to avoid putting nails in the wall. HOWEVER, velcro tape DOES NOT get the job done. I love that these can easily be applied, hold my pictures in place, can hold a good amt of weight and can easily be removed. Win, win, win!
