Every once in a while, I pick up one of the hand towels that we have in our kitchen or bathroom and discover that PEW, this towel stinks! It got mildew on it from being so wet all day long, I guess. Even after they are washed, I can smell the mildew when they get wet again. So I’ve been throwing away towels and I keep having to buy more. I kept telling my husband, we have to think of a better solution.It never really occurred to us to have hand dryers - like the kind in public restrooms - in our own home! But when I saw these on Amazon, it was like a lightbulb went off in my head! Why not have some hand dryers – it’s actually quite a clever solution to the stinky towel problem!So we got them! And hung them up in both the kitchen and the bathroom! They come with the screws and anchors to mount them to any wall. They can be hard-wired, but they also come with a cord and can be easily plugged into any outlet. The cord isn’t very long, however, so that limits the location a bit. We’re actually quite impressed with them. These hand dryers are excellent quality.They are also very simple to use. We just hold our hands within 7 inches of the sensor and the warm air starts blowing air to dry our hands. It even has a gentle light in case we use them at night. When we take our hands away from the sensor, the air stops within seconds. I laugh every time I use it, because I never imagined that we would have something like this in our home and it just seems funny somehow! I’m sure these are meant for public men’s and women’s restrooms, but I think more people ought to consider having them in their home! They work great! They are a little loud, of course, but we’ve already gotten used to that. We overlook the noise because we are so happy to have this completely non-touch and sanitary solution to our stinky towel problem.

The Commercial Hand Dryer by EnBath, is a fun and useful idea that’s much nicer to have at home than expected. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It feel heavy and solid at 8lbs and it looks like high quality on the wall. I’d put the quality in the upper-middle range of the quality scale and guess it should hold up great considering its job as a hanging hair dryer.II. Performance – It works really good at its singular purpose, by heating up instantly and blowing really hard at 224mph, drying hands quickly. It’s nice to be able to have room temperature air for the summer, when its already too hot, they call it energy saving mode. The power cord is on the longer side for one of these and they also offer the ability to easily hardwire it. Unfortunately, the stainless steel is a super fingerprint monster, but it looks great and doesn’t require that you actually touch it.Overall, I really like these hand dryers. Its surprisingly fun for me to do this at home and very effective at drying my hand while saving me from having to wash my hand towels as often. It also seems to be a great attention getter with guests, everyone loves using them and comments about them. What I really like about this set of 2 electric home hand dryers is the size the most. I like that they don’t look like full-on commercial hand dryers (like those that you’ll see in gas station bathrooms) they’re quite small and they are a really great size for home use. I also liked how simple the installation process went, and I really like that they included all the screws, and plastic anchors that are needed for mounting to your wall too. The best part of installation is that it comes with a stencil paper-map that shows exactly where to drill the main starter holes in the wall. So it’s as simple as checking the site on the wall, taping the stencil map to the wall and insuring that the map lines were level, then drill your starter holes, hammer in the provided plastic anchors, and assemble the back panel of the electric hand dryer to the wall with the provided screws. I really like the quality of the entire product, I like that inside the hand dryer. It also comes with a button that allows you to change from hot air or cold air, whatever your preference. I also like that it did come with a knob that you’re able to turn for what they have listed as volume, but I found out that it’s not only volume, but the speed and amount of air that pushes out through your electric hand dryer. I like how quickly it dries my hands and even at the low level speed volume it still dries my hands pretty fast. I really like the overall functioning of the entire hand dryer, from the easy installation, to having your preferences customized inside of your hand dryer (heated and volume), and the effectiveness of my hands being dried after only a few seconds.What I didn’t like about these electric hand dryers is that they are really loud even at the lowest level. I didn’t find it that big of a deal because it’s kind of expected for these types of hand drying machines. What I found that has helped, is that I just unplug the hand dryers at night so that way it doesn’t bother anybody asleep, and I can just use a hand towel. The other thing I didn’t like is how short the plug-in cord is if your outlet is on the opposite side like mine is. If you do have an outlet on the opposite side like mine, I would do a test (mock) staging of your hand dryer on the wall, and ensure the cord gives you enough leeway to hang it where you want it.Overall, I really am happy that I did get both of these electric hand dryers for my house; not only do I think they’re a great value when bought together like this in a set, but I think it’s cost-effective with not wasting paper towels or frequently washing hand towels, and having these electric hand dryers has really helped a lot. I most definitely will recommend this electric hand dryer set to anyone looking for a pair of good quality pair of electric hand dryers for their home/business, then I would recommend these to you too.
