Just installed this gate today, already had a cheaper gate that was a hand-me-down. This gate was rather expensive compared to the entry level options but I immediately see why. I purchased is because of its height, 90 degree detents and ability to swing inwards or outwards. I can leave it open when I want and it stays that way. My old gate only swings one way, and it has a button on both sides of the latch, but only one side is a button that's hard to press and the other side is fake. I had disassembled it thinking one side was broken but found out it was just cosmetic. This model has a latch button top and bottom that you must press simultaneously and they're both very easy to press and hold.This gate is very easy to install and comes with width extenders. A standard width doorway shouldn't need those. It even comes with attachments to put it between circular columns. It's much sturdier than my cheaper gate and the lock mechanism locks both at the latch and at the base. The gaps in the posts are small so cats can't squeeze between them. The only downside I can think of is if you wanted this to keep dogs or toddlers out but allow cats through. I think I saw an option for a little integrated cat door but I can't remember for this brand.Overall I'm glad I didn't buy another cheapo gate, this one is much nicer and thankfully worth the price. With coupon from Amazon I spent about $75. I might end up buying another to replace the other cheap gate I've been using.

These are easy to install and work perfect. They are very sturdy as long as children aren't hanging on it. I bought them to block my dogs from free roam of the house. Look really nice. I bought 2 and they fit perfect in different size doorways.

This is a beautiful, tall, STURDY gate. It’s metal, not plastic. You can adjust the pieces to fit a variety of sized openings. You can even screw pieces into the wall if you’re nervous about tension supports (don’t be nervous with this one, the tension isn’t letting this baby go anywhere.) I have a rug that my dog decided was his toilet when it too rainy for his liking, or when he wanted to be lazy, or just whenever he felt like it. Working with a trainer now for these issues, and one of her suggestions was to gate off the area with the rug. This gate was a great choice. We also really appreciate being able to leave it open, and the auto-shut feature. Well worth the original price, but I’m so happy I found it on the Black Friday sale. Run, don’t walk on this one!

I ordered one and loved it. It's easy to use and wasn't complicated to install. I love how my hand naturally falls on the buttons making it so easy to open. It isn't easy for kids to open but not difficult for adults either.I ordered a second one and it was a completely different handle. No biggy, I just requested a replacement through amazon. They sent me the wrong baby gate again. I reached out to the vendor who essentially told me that there is no way for them to give me what I ordered, they are sent out at random. Didn't bother to give me what I ordered so I just returned it. The only solution they gave me was to try ordering again.My suggestion, make sure you got what you ordered! They are not sending out correct item. The original one in the photo has a handle that is a lot smoother to open while the other requires you to use more of a pincer grip to open, making it more difficult for me and my mother-in-law to open.

We've gone through several different types of baby gates over the years. This by far has been the best. It has a sleek design, it stays open if you want it to and closes fluidly. It's sturdy and I like the numerous height options.

I ordered 2 of these and used them for my dogs. Its easy to set up, sturdy, gate opens both ways, and it's easy to adjust.These have worked well and help keep my puppers safe.

Me gustó muchÃsimo la calidad de esta puerta, querÃa algo que combinara con las escaleras y fuera de buena calidad, el montaje fue super sencillo y el mecanismo funciona bien! Mi bebé de año y medio ya esta segura en la planta alta. Espero sea durable :)

La puerta es bastante más estética de lo que esperaba. Excelente calidad y muy resistente. Muy fácil de armar y colocar siempre que se respeten las instrucciones (no retirar el cinturón que la mantiene cerrada antes de instalar).La uso para evitar que un salchicha cachorro baje la escalera y es perfecta, no cabe entre los barrotes pero es fácil de abrir y cerrar aún con una mano.Bien instalada no se mueve de lugar a pesar del uso constante. Muy recomendable.

bought these to stop dogs getting to the mail before we do :) ......the extra height is brilliant, our mail is now safe and it doesnt look bad too !!
