I really like the design of this radio holder, it seems to me to be the most versatile I've found. I removed the belt clip and installed a 1" RAMM mount ball so that I can mount the radio on the handlebar of my quad using a RAMM mount handlebar clamp. This setup works awesome!

Works ok but the corners are very sharp and the string to strap the radio down the string is very hard to grip because it’s missing the black piece that’s advertised attached to the string to grip the pull string . I think I might return.

The product is great for the price and holds the radio in place, not sure why there are negative reviews.

I have a number of HT radios, including a Motorola APX 6000 (quite a brick), a Yaesu FT70D, and a Tidradio GM-5R. Here are the cons:1. Bulky and clunky2. Heavy3. Hard, sharp edges and corners4. Not made for radios with side-attaching speaker/mics5. Useless bungee cord size-to-fit system6. Shipped without instructions (took me a while to figure it out)7. Poor quality control: the hinge pin on the belt clip was missing (kind of an important detail)I returned it the day it arrived.

Some sharp corners you will have to file down but works great.

True to fit on various types of radios. I bought this for my friend that is starting out in security for his external vest and he loves it. Didn't even know it was able to be clipped on and off at first, but that was definitely a plus.

So I got this back into last year and utilized it in a fast paced environment that required a lot of moment and changing of radios. (Inseting and or removing from the radio holter)It was already apparent when I first used it, the string to fasten Down a regular Motorola hand held radio.I don't think this was worth the price and hassle. The clip on holster is pretty sturdy on the belt and it it is fashionable. But overall the entire thing broke over a year and I went back to my old radio holder.I wouldn't recommend this holster for security or anything where the user is physically active a lot.
