I was able to use the sensor but not the plugs since they did not match the original of the car.

I’m trying to return the sensor I order it on April 27 but took a long while to get it and now that I want to return it it’s not letting me . I feel like I got scam . My car check engine light is still on as well on the scanner is still telling me the knob sensor is no good . I want to return it and get my money back . It’s not worth the money.

Definitely recommend easy install once I figured out how to get the intake and everything off. It got my check engine lights off and allowed the engine to run correctly.

Both knock sensors sheared off--with HAND TIGHT pressure. The threaded portion is held on with JB weld... unbelievably cheap quality. I was left with the head end of the sensor and was required to extract two sets of threads from the head of my 1MZ. I am 100% certain neither was cross threaded. They could have fallen apart in my hand. All that said, the harness included was great. Decent connectors that fit the OEM harness, well-shielded, and nice wire quality. It's a shame. They should sell the harness only.Only buy this product if you plan to bypass your knock sensor harness and not install them down under the intake manifold in the V. I am currently awaiting the arrival of Denso sensors, which is what I should have started with.

Took my chances after reading all those negative reviews. Installed on 2002 Lexus ES300. Third day, no more fault codes. Very surprised.

I bought this as a temporary fix to cut up/fuse as a sensor bypass until I could source the proper 1MZFE (late 90's/early 2000's Toyota 3.0L) knock sensors and harness for my 2001 Lexus RX300 (same driveline and components as Toyota Highlander of the same year). To be up front, FOR A LONG TERM FIX, USE OEM KNOCK SENSORS AND HARNESS. To do knock sensors properly is a bit more labor intensive and Will take some time, but if you're mechanically inclined, it's very doable for a DIY'er/shade tree. These sensors are cheaply made no nowhere close to OEM Toyota specs. That being said, they could theoretically be used for the temporary 1MZFE Knock sensor bypass, and in my theoretical case, it may have theoretically worked for several months until the OEM proper parts could be theoretically sourced and the repair done properly. There are many how-to's for both the bypass and proper repair online.
