Great bag to have in an emergency. It’s got all the basics to likely keep you alive for 3 days in an emergency like a fire or a earthquake or hurricane. I really like the labeled and waterproof organizational bags, I think it beats having to rummage through a stuffed backpack. Pros:-The gear is generally of really good quality. It is quite comprehensive, especially the sanitation kits, and the lighting/communications bag.-More water than most competitor brands offer in a to-go bag.Cons:- bright red backpack would draw attention to your gear in an emergency, might increase your chances of being the target of theft or a mugging in a mass emergency where people may get desperate.-Needs even more water. Unless you think you’d be comfortable having 16 ounces of water a day for 3 days, you’ll definitely want to add a big water bottle to this bag.-the tiny bodywash soap leaked a bit, not a big deal but they should change that item.Overall I’d still give the kit 5 stars since it really comes with almost everything you’d need in an emergency to stay alive in some kind of comfort. Keep it in your car or by the door.

Recently moved back to California after being on the east coast and the week I got back there was an earthquake. This quickly reminded me that (1) there are earthquakes and (2) I am unprepared if there was ever a true emergency. In the past I had made my own bags but with my busy schedule I decided to just buy one already put together. This bag went above and beyond any bag I have made in the past and is such a great value! I am a nurse and avid hiker so to the bag I added of course a few more first aid kit supplies (which there was room for in the first aid kit box) as well as a Sawyer mini water filtration system. I also liked that they added the list of personal items you should add to your bag which is helpful! Adding some clothes and the other items was a bit of a tight squeeze but after repacking it a few times it all fit!I highly suggest buying this bag for any kind of emergency! All the products inside were of good quality as well including the flashlight. Their website also has alot of good information on emergency preparedness that I found helpful to read and I like that you can register the bag and they will alert you when things expire or need to be replaced like the food items.Overall amazing product and I plan to buy another one for my car.

I bought Complete Earthquake Bags for each of my two adult children who live in L.A. and San Francisco. As a Dad, I had been bugging them for years to put some emergency supplies aside. And for years they promised to do it, and of course they never got around to it. Then I saw this bag and was very impressed by how complete and well thought-out it is... Not just the supplies, but well organized and labeled, with instructions. The kids are wowed and grateful, and we're all relieved to know they are so well prepared for emergency!

TLDR: Good, not great kit. Lots of potential though and would buy again because of the value. The kit is a great starting place, and the value/quality is there. I believe this kit will get the job done, especially with a few tweaks. I love the water proof individual pouches, and the organization. The bag seems durable enough for the intended purpose. The flashlight/radio/charger worked well, but would be nice if it came with a short multi-ended cable usb-c/micro/apple. Few things could be better:1. The kit includes a 12 hour candle but no fire starting device. I'd love to see some stormproof matches.2. There are liquid soaps in the hygiene kit stored with paper wrapped towelettes and of course my shampoo had already leaked everywhere and ruined the towelettes. Not a big deal, but no need for liquid soaps at all imo, but put them in their own leak bag regardless.3. The first aid kit is pretty weak, I expected something a little more robust for a E-Bag.My add-ons: I added a small hatchet, otc meds, some more first aid materials, storm matches, and USB cables so far. Considering a water filter, and maybe a camp stove and pot.

I bought this bag in the unlikely event of an emergency, but I want to prepared just in case. The bag seems to be good quality given its weight. It is well-organized and well-packed. My only suggestion would be to provide a slightly bigger bag with enough room left for extra things. There are plenty of empty small pockets, but I would like the biggest pocket to be bigger. I was able to barely fit a spare set of clothes for my son and I in it. The list of extra supplies they recommend to put in it won't fit, like shoes. It is best to have everything in one bag, so you can quickly grab it and go. Instead of bigger, maybe provide extra straps or mesh bags to secure to the outside. But it is sufficient for my needs.

I was very impressed with the amount of emergency supplies crammed into this bag! All that was listed was included. This might be tricky (and obvious) to drag around if you needed to leave during an emergency, but I appreciate all of the supplies and how they’re organized.

I received my shipment within 4 days, which was much faster than I expected. After going through the items in the bag, all materials were accounted for and the individual tools were of high quality which was nice to see. Although I don't have much experience with creating my own emergency bags, I can say that this comes with basically everything I would have wanted to put in my own bag. One thing to note, the two front pockets were empty, so there is space to add additional items if you want. Also the main bag has some space as well, so I added a water purifying straw as well as as some extra batteries.Overall a great bag that fulfills my needs and would be used for any emergency. I'm thinking about getting one for my car as well.
