I put this on my 2008 craftsman dys4500 riding lawn mower, I put 2 pieces of 3/4" treated plywood about an inch wide so my seat sensor would clear. 2 holes lined up on the seat with some long bolts I had, they were standard thread bolts. Worked really good, looks even better. I got the seat 2 days after i ordered it, some things on Amazon work out great.

We have an aging Ford New Holland 1725 and after decades of hard use, the seat was worn out. We were hesitant about making this purchase, but with Amazon's return policy and the amazing price for the seat only and no mechanical parts, we took the chance and bought it. It took a few extra minutes for my husband to drill a couple of new holes in the seat support plate but after that it was super-quick to install. I was so delighted with how incredibly comfortable the new seat is, even driving across rather bumpy, uneven ground, ruts across the dirt roads made as water breaks, etc. It was well worth the price and I highly recommend it as a replacement for our size farm tractor.

Love the seat, but you do need to modify to fit. Seems like good quality and great back support.

Installation was not straight forward. Installed on a Craftsman garden tractor. Had to drill and put inserts in new positions that matched my mounting plate. Was not able to get seat kill switch to work and so by-passed it. Was not able to use seat position adjustment either -- so not a good match for my tractor. But for the price I am overall pleased.

This seat looked promising, but I couldn't even install it because the nut inserts in the bottom of the seat were only held by plastic. Nothing more than the drag of threads passing over each other and the nut inserts spun in the seat with no way to hold them. I re-installed my old seat and shipped it back.

Good sturdy seat it can be removed the padding with eight screws the two long ones go on the sides there's a drain tube I used duct tape to pull it back through and that's what I got access to put in the new bolts very good product

The seat required modifications to install but I was not disappointed. The modifications were made easy by separating the seat from the base. Removing 8 Phillips screws then lifting the seat from the base revealed excellent construction and materials. I was then able to drill holes and install the base easily before re-installing the seat. No complaints from me. Thanks for a well designed product.
