Love these things. So handy and useful. Used them to level my fountains and planters. Easy to use and reusable. What’s not to like?

Shims worked well to stabilize bookcase. They are a good value for the money.

They do a pretty decent job, I do not recommend using them outside,

I needed some structural shims to level up a foundation that had a 1/2" slant to it. I like floors level and was not about to frame on what I was given. So both under the rim joists and under the floor joists I shimmed, and just finished the subfloor and it is almost perfectly level. It will make everything go better moving forward.I like that these are stiffer and feel substantial. They do not feel as if they will compress under a heavy load. They do make structural wooden shims, but these are more reasonably priced and I just like them better. Didn't use nearly as many as expected since I use a wood chisel to cut these, and all of the scraps then were used on the next joist. I ended up with very little waste, but then I'm kind of frugal anyway.Really glad I found these. It was perfect timing, and the leftovers I intend to use in hanging doors.

I didn't want to use wooden shims for my application since they tend to rot over time in a moisture-prone area. Feels solid and easy to tap it into place. The slope is just right so that you get precise vertical adjustments over the entire length of the shim. I ended up cutting off the ends if they were sticking out but you might be able to score it and snap them off with pliers as well. Overall it was a good fit for my job.

I purchased a variety of composite shims for leveling furniture in an older home. Worked great!

It was used on A/C leveling for proper condensing water drainage. Also used in other projects at home. It’s waterproof and better than wooden ones.

I bought these shims to elevate a portion of a 5-ft diameter water trough that's not on level cement. They do appear to be strong enough to hold up against a half tank of water, but they slipped after some point. The plastic material makes them slip a bit easy when stacking.

Does what it says on the tin. Sturdy plastic used which are easily stackable to get the prefect elevation needed.

These are very useful when you are working on old homes where nothing is straight.
