The gloves can tolerate quite a bit of heat and are very durable. Great grip too. This is my second set because my son “stole†the first set because he liked them so much. I definitely recommend them.

These are thoroughly HEAT RESISTANT. AND likely EASY to clean under the kitchen sink sprayer. AND GIFTABLE -- ABSOLUTELY .... for a BB-Q-er. THESE ARE MASSIVELY HUGE! I felt like getting in a boxing ring to fight. THEY just would not work for me and would make everything clumsy. I'm sending them back. I'll just have to be careful and use regular hot pads.

Ok, they fit weird...big enough, but very short fingers, but they work great. I can hold a cast iron pot straight out of the oven with no pain. They do get hot, but not as quick as cloth mitts or gloves. Good product that got to my house quick

I bought these for my scout troop patrol boxes for assorted uses when camping. The silicone is easy to clean and hard to burn, both good qualities for scout use! They have held up well so far. The longer length is helpful to protect your forearms when tending to gratings over a hot fire. 5 stars.

I had purchased others that did not work for me. I have a air fryer convection oven combo and trying to get the tray out is difficult with large pot holders. And my other issue is I have very small hands. So after looking at the reviews on these some people did mention for small hands only and they were correct. I can't see a man's hand fitting in these gloves unless their hands are small. They look much bigger in the pictures which is deceiving but they fit me perfectly.

Those fingers are tiny! The inside sticks to your hand and pulls out when you remove them. The finger tips bunch up and are a pain to get back Into place. These gloves are not for precision handling. Bulky and stiff. Though they do protect very well.

I gotta love these bbq gloves. Great for oven use, also. I have a brisket-sized spare grill rack that I load the food on and just slide the rack onto the smoker grill surface. When the food is done, the spare rack slides out, but is both heavy and hot. I use these gloves to grab the hot rack to slide it onto a large baking sheet, then carry it into the house. I’ve never had difficulty holding the Weight because these gloves have great grip. If I hold something hot for more than a minute I can feel the heat through the gloves but haven’t been burned. I’ve also used these to flip chicken on the grill. The fingers are large and oversized , but most tasks are easily accomplished. Cleanup is easy—I just wear the gloves and squirt dish soap on the palm of the gloves and wash like washing hands.

The silicon is rather thin and can’t use it for handling Dutch ovens for baking breads which use high temperatures. Perhaps they might be ideal for over the stove cooking.
