I bought this item hoping it would eliminate the whine and buzz and clicks I was getting through the amp on my boat stereo from the trim switch, jack plate switch, aerators, live wells pumps, etc... It worked perfectly and for the price and ease to install I couldn't be happier. I did notice it seems to have knocked some of the bass out, but since I am a treble man that no issue.

I have a very long run of RCA cord from my media server to my main receiver, and was getting serious buzz on the living room speakers. Figured it was probably a ground loop, and sure enough this fixed the problem immediately. There is a small reduction in bass, in that room, but not enough to be a problem for casual listening. If it ever really gets to me, well that's what subwoofers are for.

This product does eliminate hum but also significantly reduces quality of the signal. This made my studio monitors sound like a cheap boom box. I had significant reduction in high end details and quality. This product does work to eliminate ground loop hum and it is cheap.. I suppose you get what you pay for. If you want a much better solution for ground loop issues, try an ART DTI...

The factory Bose system amp in my Audi has ballanced (differential), high-impedance inputs with no shielding on the cabling. That't a great idea to keep vehical cost under control while reducing noise but at the expence of not being compatible with the automotive audio world. My Kenwood has the expected un-ballanced (i.e. single-ended) outputs so I could hear every power supply noise and even alternator noise. I needed a ballun transformer to get my head to output a compatible signal. This simple isolation transformer works well for this and has the RCA connections needed. Sorta bulky and a 4-channel unit would be cleaner but it does the job well.

So i bought this bc my old isolator started to give up on me after 10+ years so i needed a replacement. Now THIS or any other isolator alone 9/10 will NOT completely get rid of your audio feedback. YOU HAVE TO GROUND THE RCA CABLES BEHIND YOUR HEAD UNIT!!!! Take some speaker wire and tightly wrap it around the rca plugs behind your head unit and then take the other end and tightly wrap it around a screw on the side of your head unit and then add this isolator to your amplifier and you will completely eliminate any noise feedback.Noise feedback comes from buying cheap/mid parts. It is what it is but doing this trick will eliminate that feedback for you. Other then that i was def satisfied with the build quality of this isolator. Im gonna buy another one for my front speakers even though i dont currently need it.

I recently managed to secure a Roland MC-505 Groovebox but I had a really annoying low frequency hum coming out of my amplifier through the 505. I connected up the ground loop & it totally eliminated the hum from my Groovebox. I highly recommend this product if you are using old school synthesisers through an amp like I am. Brilliant but simple solution.

I purchase this item, not sure if it will fix the issue. Reduced hum to no hum at all, like magic. I was not able to use the audio feed due to the loud ground hum, this unit fixed it.
