I purchased this and I was hoping for a quality coffee grinder and that's exactly what I got. It's the right size to sit on the counter and has a very acceptable noise level when grinding. It's not messy & I simply clean it with a vacuum cleaner which does a great job very quickly. I believe it's a very good value for the money. I've set the grinder for different levels and it works perfectly and gives great grind quality.Would definitely buy again but hopefully I will never have to. Tracy Las Vegas Nv

I had this model for 6 years then I broke it, my fault. I decided to "upgrade" to a model 3x the price. That was a complete disaster and that machine went back. I then ordered another one of these. I take my coffee very seriously. I use this to make drip coffee (grind setting 24) and espresso (grind setting 4) and it does a great job for both functions. I know that "hardcore" espresso aficionados turn their noses up at any grinder less than $500 with claims that cheaper grinders can't grind fine enough for espresso, I don't buy that at all. This grinds very fine and the espresso I get from this grinder is fantastic.Other features:It is easy to clean. The burr easily pops out and dust can be quickly removed with a brush and some tapping. There is no static. I do not use the water spritz anti-static method and still there is no static with this machine. The "downsides":It is loud. The body is plastic and it feels inexpensive. However my first one lasted 6 years until I broke it (user error). The pre-set grind amounts on the dial don't really mean anything. You have to basically turn it on and off as needed to grind the amount of coffee you want. I weigh my means on a scale then put that amount into the hopper and grind until they are all done. You absolutely cannot go wrong for the price point. Highly recommended.

I've had the coffee grinder for over a month, so far, so good. It's easy to use (although I haven't used the part that grinds the coffee directly into the espresso wand), and easy to clean (although I've only cleaned it once). There are 40+ grind settings and I tend to only use 2. Happy with the purchase.

As far as grinding, it does a fantastic job. It's exactly what I needed as my previous grinder's grind settings were too far apart, not allowing for accurate micro-adjustments. I cannot sing enough praises for that. There is an issue with the portafilter cradle. Both my 51mm portafilters don't fit on the cradle well and even when they are positioned as securely as possible with the shoot aligned with the guard, grinds somehow escape through the back. This was a disappointment as I really wanted the feature/functionality of placing my portafilter under the shoot and it working. Other than that, I LOVE THIS GRINDER!This grinder was the key to successfully dialing in my espresso. No amount of adjusting dose, volume, or puck prep was working previously but after a few tries, I got dialed in and now I'm enjoying fantastic espresso!EDIT: I’ve found that the grind adjustment ring moves while grinding and you have to hold it in place to avoid the grind size from changing. Other than that, I still think it’s a great grinder for the price. Some HUGE points that I love are the minimal retention and no static issues.

So they were smart in adding a rubber type funnel to direct the grains into the espresso handle. But when you go to pull it off the grinder a large portion of the grains build up behind the boot and slides off onto the base every time. It make a mess. I've seen others that funnel into the handle way better. Grinder works great easy to get to the consistency you want, if you dont mind a mess its a good grinder.

Good product. Works well. Sometimes coffee gets stuck in the dispensing spout but generally a good grinder. The grind sizes are precise.

I bought this to make decaf in my Jura F9 via the ground coffee port. I was concerned about grind size and consistency for an espresso machine. The scale on the grinder goes down to 0. I started at 4 and the grind was too fine. I was pleased to see the grind was very consistent. The grinder has a built in timer you turn the start dial to set how many cups of coffee you want. It poured a very fine stream of coffee into the catch bin not spilling any. The lid on the hopper fits very well. Overall the unit looks very nice. As far as noise its a grinder, I don't know of any that are silent. This one I would rate as on the quiet side.

I’ve been into coffee for a long time and my experience with this coffee grinder over the past month has been amazing, it’s really good for dialing in your grinds and extractions. A little tough to clean but that’s usual. Highly recommend

Replaced my Breville Smart grinder which I gifted to an appreciative friend. This one is more compact, produces a much finer espresso grind, quieter and much better bang for the buck. Don't use the portafilter holder as it doesn't really fit the Infuser's 54 mm portafilter but no biggy. Only question left to answer is how it holds up over time??? The Breville was in perfect shape after 10 years but I never really thought its' finest grind was fine enough to pull a great shot with a creamy crema, this one does.
