Hi, I needed a food storage for catering to transport and cool off my chile, beans and rice. But I can lift so many pounds and the bucket did exactly what I wanted it to do which was store while hot and I was able to chill on ice at temperature to keep cold. My only problem was that I wasn't able to put the outer lid onto the bucket I needed my brother to get them on. Once they were placed the product and price is worth it.

We got these food grade buckets and gamma lids for our dog food. The black color bucket helps us know it’s pet food, not our people food. The 3.5 gallon size is perfect for half of a 25 pound bag of food, and it’s an easy size to handle. These dogs are smart but they can’t open a gamma lid, so I don’t need to worry about them overeating or making a mess. The different colored lids to help us rotate flavors so the dogs don’t get bored with their food.

I really couldn’t see through them. I guess if I had dark liquid in there, maybe I would see through them. I didn’t use the rings. I just left the cap loose on top. On the red one ,I tried putting the ring below to see what that would look like, but will probably store the rings under them since I don’t use them.

These buckets and lids are very heavy plastic. I love how the lid can be screwed off to easily access the contents. Great for food storage
