Ok. One of my pet peeves in working with these gamma lids is how nearly impossible it is to get them to snap down on the edge of the bucket. if you use a hammer or wood plank which you then pound on it... it ruins the lid. . . but these are true " gamma" lids, made in the uSA - WHICH MIGHT explain the quality of them - they got my business for sure! well worth the money

We use these for 5-gallon buckets that we modified as chicken feeders and waterers. Easy to open, and stay securely closed.Then we needed big inspection/maintenance ports for an experimental septic drainfield, and were kind of stumped. We found big buikheads at industrial supply houses for literally hundreds or thousands of dollars! So glad we hit upon using these. Our piping outlet is inside a 5-gallon bucket which we can access through this lid. We will keep it covered by a paver, because of course the plastic does not have a long life under our harsh UV sunlight.

These lids seem to be rather thin and don't seem to be too durable, but since I am using them to replace non-gamma lids when I open a food storage bucket, I am happy as long as it keeps any potential bugs out.I have not used any yet so I don't know how easy they will be to put on. From previous experience with gamma lids (hard to put the ring on) I put the ring in hot water for about 5 minutes and dry off with a clean towel. This makes the lids little more pliable and easier to get on the bucket with my trusty rubber mallet.

I have ordered from this company several times and all the lids have been the buckets and sealed well. Just be sure you buy the correct buckets, not all have the same size lip at the top.
