Ignition tune up kit for the Honda 450 & 500 twins and the GL1000. Built to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Includes left & right points and condensers.
NOTE: The Gold Wing originally had single sprung points, these are double sprung. The extra copper spring helps to prevent "Point bounce" or "float" which can cause misfires at high RPM''s. The extra spring also provides a more reliable ground which is very important for Gold Wings because the condenser is not located next to the points.

So after my honda dealer wanted 10x this price. I figured 10 sets of these over the next few years wouldn't be so bad, if they were even that bad. Installed them and the fit well and work well.1 concern I have is, i have noticed that the points will "walk" themselves closed and then the bike runs like crap if at all. In less than my first tank I had to readjust the points twice.Now. I do not know if this is the points fault. The bikes fault or my fault but the issue has stopped for now. And I just carry a screwdriver with me incase.They do work. Bike runs great. 1979 gl1000

Other breaker point sets have better features to aid adjustability and to keep them in place once they are set. These work, but I have definitely worked with better hardware. Consider buying from Common Motor Collective as an alternative.
