I bought a 6 hole punch and it came with binder clips. However, they are a 3:1 pitch...3 holes per inch...and they didn't fit with my punch. These 3 ring binder clips are PERFECT! I'm going to order more to finish a project that I had started when I bought the punch. Fortunately, I have a punch that will work with the other binder clips.You can see in the pictures that these clips will hold a lot of paper. The paper I used with these is cardstock and index cards. These are scraps from another project. I like to recycle my scraps into new items...no waste. I still have room for a front and back cover if I so desire. The punch I used is KW-triO Organizer Solution purchased on Amazon. These clips are solid.

Just to be clear: you will have to open each individual ring separately. Opening one won't result in pening the rest automatically.Plus, the rings aren't fixed around the pole/spine to which they are attached. They twist around it. So you could have one ring face one way and bend the others in another direction. That said it won't be that relevant once you put a good amount of paper to hold inside. But obviously of you have 2 or 3 of these say as a holding spine and you want to open the rings to insert a page that means you will go through opening 6 to 9 rings individually and close them individually. Just something to consider of you lean heavily towards convenience it could be an issue.

Just opened the package. The quantity matched description, color matched description. There is nothing that opens all 3 rings and for what these would have been used for, I dont want this person to deal with that frustrations. They are a bit hard to open.Would not recommend if you think you will be replacing the paper often, but if you do not plan to then maybe.Im setting up the return now.

I cannot figure out how to open these as my arthritic fingers and hands do not have the strength to squeeze hard enough to release the clips. I need to find a padded pliers to pinch these and twist to unlatch.If there's some kind of secret technique, please do share.

I should have learned from previous reviews. But I thought the supplier revised the sizes because the sizes they complained about in the reviews looked to be changed. But, the size is still not as described. The outside diameter they give is actually the inside dimension. OUTSIDE diameter is less than 1†as you can see. INSIDE diameter is just over 3/4â€. I was looking for 1†inside soooo, these are going back. Yippee.

The rings function well enough, but they are a bit difficult to maneuver. Once I’ve got my papers secured, I have absolutely no desire to fiddle with the rings again. These rings are not meant to be opened/closed frequently.
