This vest is really cool. The double layer look allowed me to get away with not wearing a coat to a semi formal masquerade party in the summer. I had a pair of grey slacks from a brand called A[x]ist or Axist that were almost the same color and matched very well. The fit was very nice; it has a slim fit that actually fit. Last time I had a waistcoat, it was too wide at the waist even thought the chest and hips fit. Obviously I'm not wearing this to a gala with all the millionaires I don't know, but the construction quality is very nice. It's worth noting the lapels on the upper layer don't continue into a collar around the back like a sport coat; it looks like a vest from the back. I would recommend this vest to anyone looking to spruce up their casual events or for semi formal events in hot weather (no sleeves!). I would buy it again in another color if I need it.Quick list: great value for money, durable material, quality construction, median quality material (hence the cheap price point)

The quality of this product is impressive and it looks very nice. We bought this for my son's prom. He is in a wheelchair so a wearing a standard jacket is an issue. We like that this looked formal while leaving his arms free to move and not bunching up under/behind him like a jacket would. That said 2 things need to be notes. First it runs maybe a size small compared to other clothes so size up. Second I wish the back was slit. The adjusters on the back offer a huge range of sizing except that the back piece is a solid piece of fabric so the adjuster strap doesn't actually do much at all but hang there or bunch up wads of fabric . If the back was slit it would allow tightening the straps to overlap smoothly without bunching or loosening the straps to give additional width by opening up slightly. We were able to do the alterations ourselves by splitting the lining at the seam and cutting the back fabric up the middle from the tail to between the shoulder blades and hemming it all together. That allowed a lot more usability of the adjuster straps and the back of the vest to lay more flat. That single change being standard would really help with fit I think.

I ordered this vest for my husband and we were both so impressed. With the price point I didn’t expect top of the line quality but that’s what we received. The fabric was made well and the stitching was durable. None of the buttons came loose either. The fit was nice and it has an adjustable strap in the back to get the look you desire. My husband said it was comfortable and he didn’t even take it off until we got home. As someone that isn’t usually comfortable in dress clothes, he really liked the look and feel of this vest. I will be purchasing another one in a different color.

Purchased this item after seeing these layered vests featured on Pinterest. Prior to purchase I was somewhat skeptical of the quality and fit so I only ordered just one. Once it arrived and fast I might add I was very amazed on how well it was packaged. The fabrics appearance, texture and thickness/weight looked and felt great. There was no difference in the quality from what I could tell compared to buying from a well known U.S. designer or outlet here locally. The vest was well stitched together with no sign of any glue used in the fabrication that I could see or feel. Since it arrived folded there were some creases in the fabric. However, after running it through a gently cycle in the driver on medium heat for 20 minutes the creases were completely gone. When I tried it on the size quite literally fit me like a glove comfortably with just enough room to move around in. I usually take a medium and so I ordered a medium. It turns out for me at least the sizes do match. Also, the buttons are stitched on very well and line up perfectly. The pockets are real with just a few stitches keeping them closed. I recommend not cutting these stitches to gain access to the pockets as this may cause the pockets to bulge or slouch over time. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. So much so that I ordered other variants of the layered vest all by Coofandy. By the way, the pictures don't quite do the vest enough justice. The interior lighting sort of washes it out some. The colors are much richer in contrast when seen in person. So in other words, the black fabric is really a deep black and not charcoal as pictured. Hope you all enjoy your purchase as much as I did.

With or without a tie, i definitively made sensation when i'm wearing this with jeans or any pants.Just be aware of the small clip in the back tjat is getting loose. You don't want to lose it when wearing it.-----Avec cravate ou sans cravate, je fais sensation lorsque je porte ça avec des jeans ou n'importe quel pantalon. Attention à la petite clip dans le dos qui se déserre. Vous ne voulez pas la perdre quand vous portez la veste.
