I would absolutely give this cookbook holder 5 stars if not for one thing: the adjustable stand in the back that props up the cookbook holder is actually TOO easily adjusted, making the whole thing a bit unstable if you bump it or try to move or adjust the position in any way once it is propped up. If I need to do anything, I use both hands - one on the main body of the holder, and one on the stand in the back, to keep it open at the desired angle in order to prevent it from collapsing or falling. So in my opinion, this holder needs some kind of design improvement to the stand in the back.Other than that, the rest is aaalllll to love! It is a gorgeous piece made out of bamboo. The wood is a beautiful color and it lends an overall high quality impression. I normally like to keep my countertops as clutter-free as possible, but I honestly don't mind having this sitting out all the time, even when it is not in use, simply because I think it looks nice and offers some personality to the kitchen. And the conversion chart is awesome!That makes this holder practical and useful in more than one way, serving double duty as a cookbook stand AND as a quick and convenient reference for those tedious conversions that can be hard to memorize. 😜. So you might save yourself a bit of time by not having to stop and Google things while in the middle of cooking / baking. The holder can also be hung up on the wall when not in use, which is a great space-saving (and decorative) alternative. For the current price of around $15, I would definitely consider this holder to be worth it for the value and functionality that you are getting.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm not exactly a culinary whiz. But I do enjoy cooking a good steak or whipping up a batch of chili every now and then. The problem is, I'm always getting my cookbooks all greasy and splattered. So, when I saw this bamboo cookbook stand, I figured it was worth a shot.Now, I'm not usually one for fancy kitchen gadgets. But this thing is surprisingly useful. It holds my cookbook upright at a good angle, so I can easily read the recipe without having to crane my neck or worry about getting sauce all over the pages.The stand itself is well-made. The bamboo has a nice finish, and it feels sturdy enough to hold even my heaviest cookbooks. The adjustable angle is a nice feature, and the non-slip grips keep the book in place, even when I'm flipping pages with greasy fingers.One thing I wasn't expecting was the built-in conversion chart. It's actually pretty handy for those times when I need to convert cups to ounces or figure out how many milliliters are in a tablespoon. It saves me from having to pull out my phone or dig through a drawer for a measuring spoon.If I had to nitpick, I'd say the stand is a bit lightweight. It's not going to blow over or anything, but it does slide around a bit on my countertop if I'm not careful. A little more weight on the base would be nice.Overall, though, I'm pretty happy with this cookbook stand. It's a simple but effective solution to a common problem, and it looks good sitting on my counter. It's even inspired me to try a few new recipes. Who knows, maybe I'll become a master chef yet!

Sturdy wood, perfect size for larger cook books. But the hinge hardware and nails broke the first time I put a book on my first one. I was sent a replacement and the third time I used in the small wood nails popped out. The stand design no longer works. Didn't replace the second one. Just got a different stand.

i was so impressed with this wooden cookbook holder! it’s sturdy, well made, and great quality. apart from the stand itself, i really love how it has the conversion chart on it, having the measurements on hand and readily accessible is a great feature and super convenient. the design is simple but also so visually appealing. it’s very easy to assemble which is always appreciated. if you’re an avid or even aspiring cook, i 100% recommend!

I wish I had counter space to leave this on display but i don’t. So I'm glad the stand has a good hinge and it can collapse mostly flat to tuck it in a cupboard. The conversions are great, I know them by heart but my daughter's don’t yet and they appreciate it, plus it’s just cute and useful. It’s well made and you can change the angle of the support easily and it stays. I used it a lot over the holidays and found it super useful. Keeps the recipe out of the way and away from splashes/splatters.

Came broken - the screws at the back of the board holding the stand in place continued to fall out even when I tried screwing them back in.
