The shade cloth was a big help over my asparagus beds. I'm gardening in the tropics and the afternoon sun is intense. It covers about halfway down on the hoops over the bed but made a big difference in the growth of my baby asparagus. Leaving the bottom open for air and sun. I'm hoping it lasts more than 1 season but right now it's a great product and wasn't too pricey.

This sun shade fabric is a 50% block out cover for the garden. It is very lightweight and easy to work with. I actually like it better than the heavier ones I have with grommets. It allows for good air circulation and provides the right amount of light filtration. It will likely last a couple of seasons and the hemmed edges have slits every few inches making it easy to place over fence loops or stakes. It is perfect for my application over tomato plants, cantaloupe, peppers and rhubarb during 100+ degree days. I have ordered 4 so far. Very happy with it.

This is a GREAT shade cloth! First, it is well made. There are no frays or loose fibers. Next it has a reinforced edge. Numerous strong threads hold the edges along the length of the shade. I bought a 10' length and that's what it measured when I unpacked it. Third, that reinforced edge I mentioned, it has eyelet (like button holes) about every 2-3" inches. This allowed me to weave some garden string through it and hang it in a supportive way.My garden box has two levels. The lower box is only about 6" inches deep. It's filled with herbs and flowers. The box faces south, so it gets a lot of sun. This summer with continuous daily highs reaching between 105-109 degrees F, it was just too much for the plants! Even watering more often didn't prevent the sun scorching. This shade cloth was a salvation. Because I ordered a 6.5' width, I doubled it up, wove string through the upper end and attached it to the grommets in the shade cloth that runs above the box. Voila! My gerbera daisies in the lower box were no longer droopy or dried out. The herbs looked great! This cloth is a life saver! No smell. Well packaged. I'll buy this brand again!

We live in the hit Arizona heat. The covering gave our tree just enough shade to make it thru our hot summer.

Bought this to help keep the heat off my tomato plants, I had more tomatoes this year than I ever have. Kept the leaves from curling and it produced beautiful tomatoes.

Nice and light, air flows threw nicely. Can be watered threw. Protects plants on those 100° days. I'm the proud owner of several of these as I find them very useful and helpful in my garden. I'm sure I will be ordering more as summer goes on and my growing area expands. So far no complaints. If they do not last the season I will update this review

We had some trellises that had nice climbing vines growing up and over them... But, with the summer sun, many of the vine's leaves were getting scorched and turning brown (dying). We realized it was likely the intense summer sun (we're in southern California), so I bought this material to shade it a bit, and cut it to cover that trellis well... We got it hooked on with some simple screw-in cup-hooks, and it seems to be doing what we needed: no more brown leaves behind it!It cuts easily with scissors and it easy to work with (light, flexible, simple to hook onto things...)

Very lightweight, perhaps not as sturdy as I would like. Probably a one-time use cloth.

Very tough, survived the first boiling hot summer and looks brand new. Fantastic. Used over my 8x8 greenhouse.

The photos are misleading and the 20 feet length can't be achieved.Deeply regret ordering cheap looking net. The positive review with five star rating does not describe this product.
