This Florida heat has been brutal to my plants. IHad to get some protection. This shade cloth works really well. It allows water to pass through and blocks most of the direct sun. The Material seems thick and durable and I have not had any rips. The holes makeIt rather easy to set hand attach to poles or trellis. My plants did better after installing this shade cloth no burns and less dropped blooms.

Uses over green house, works good, should have gotten 70% instead of 55%. Stell works well.

You have to be gentle with this as it is like a plastic mesh. This worked to shield seedlings and more sensitive plants from the intense Texas sun. I would order this again if needed

This shade cloth works wonders! I was beginning to worry about my already stressed out trees during the summer after we beat the record for consecutive 100+ days. I needed something to shade them and I needed it quickly. Shade cloth arrived promptly and the grommets helped me to get the shade up within minutes. Excellent price for something that slashes the heat and light intensity to a manageable amount. I will be buying more.

We bought this to shade our chickens from the harsh CO sun. The chickens love it. Seem to give them just enough light to be happy, but the shade they need to stay cool and not all crowd under the coop. We get some pretty bad winds here and so far it's held up well. So well in fact, the fence was pulled away from the post because it acts as a sail. We are going to have to find a way to hang it more above the coop so we keep the fence up and the fox out.

For the price, it should go without saying that you aren't getting a top of line, commercial greenhouse-grade shade cloth. But for what it is and what it costs, it's excellent. I have a few that I keep on standby to throw over sensitive trees when we get sunny days above 100 and they work great. It is a bit fragile and prone to snagging, so you're not going to want to leave it up all year long. But it WILL provide good shade. If you're looking for a durable, woven fiber shade cloth that will last you many years, you will need to drop some coin at a greenhouse supply company.

We put this on the front wall of the greenhouse because it gets all the afternoon and evening sun. It is doing great at keeping it much cooler and protecting the plants.
