Nice looking product but there is no vent to allow the coolant to enter the tank. I drilled and tapped for a vent at the top to allow atmospheric pressure to allow the coolant to go in and out.

This is a very high-quality product. Even comes with brackets and overflow hose. It comes with one large mounting clamp, but I used two dryer vent clamps to mount it where I needed. The finish is shiny and the weight of the unit makes it feel like a quality product. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that there was no vent in the unit, and I had to drill a small hole in the top as a vent . The unit seals so tightly any coolant trying to enter would be pressing against positive air pressure. You need a vent somewhere toward the top so that the unit can fill as the motor warms up and drain when it’s turned off. Easily remedied, but someone may not catch that.
