This is a nice quality catch can. The aluminum is smooth and the welds look nice. The first thing I did was test it for leaks. It passed perfectly. It has several different holes with plugs in them for different configurations. If you are using it for a radiator overflow, I would recommend changing the configuration from the way it comes. It comes with both nipples in the top of the tank. I would recommend moving one to the bottom of the tank for the connection to the radiator. This will allow the coolant to be siphoned back into the radiator when it cools.

Good overflow tank to put into the the engine bay. Cleans up the stock coolant tank that is likely an ugly yellow plastic tank that you can't even read the level out of. I like that with this tank you can see the fluid level easily. I'm not sure how well that hose will last or if it will ever leak but it's nice to have there none the less. You obviously have to get a little creative with how you'll mount this, It wasn't too bad for me though since I have alot of room in my engine bay. Something I worry about is that since the cap is screwed on, if I should have some sort of headgasket leak and combustion gasses get into my cooling system, this tank would pressurize and I'm not sure if it would be able to release any pressure. Obviously having a bad headgasket is already a bad problem, but trapping pressure in instead of blowing off a plastic snap on cap could result in alot more damage. Just something I worry about and consider, but hey maybe if that happened it would just blow out the little hose that I'm already worried about too.Just thinking out loud, anyways this coolant tank is pretty nice. Looks great when installed not a terrible price either. I give it a 10/10 rating

A lot of vehicles today have water overflow tanks positioned where you can not see them clearly! My vehicle is this way. Even with a flashlight I find it impossible to tell where the water level is in my vehicle tank. That is where this high quality aluminum tank comes in! This tank is just plain beautiful! Made of heavy gauge aluminum with a high gloss finish. This tank has some of the most beautiful welding that I have ever seen. The tank can be mounted on either side of the radiator and has dual hose fittings for either side mounting. But the really nice feature is the clear plastic tube that you can clearly see the water level very easily. The tube can also be placed on either side for your viewing pleasure. No more Light!! The inch and a half opening has a beautiful heavy aluminum cap with a nice rubber O-ring. The scalloped edge of the cap makes it easy to take off and on. There is also a nice aluminum knurled one half inch drain plug on the bottom of the tank. This heavy duty tank should easily last the lifetime of any vehicle.

I used this as a coolant recovery bottle on a project car. Just took a little replumbing to allow the coolant from the radiator to flow into/out of the bottom of the tank. Mounted on the inner side of the radiator core support. Looks and works great.
