This is a direct replacement fan switch, normally open, closes around 180F on rising temp, opens around 140F (hard to measure super-acurately) on falling temp, to trigger fan to run. It's M16x1.5 with a O-ring seal, O-ring is included, direct swap for some UTV/SxS vehicles, easy two-wire plug-in hookup, or easy adaptation if you want to use it for something else. If using it for other-than-stock, I'd recommend using a relay as the wires are pretty thin, I doubt this can support a big amp draw.
