I have 3 9000 GPM pumps and these bags work great at keeping the junk from getting into the pumps. Glad I got them!

It serves its purpose for a sump pump in my back yard, but it interferes with the float switch sometimes. That's a quick way to waste lots of electricity if it's not noticed. I ended up removing it, and cleaning out my sump basin of any debris. The float switch will need a guard for this to work without incident.

I have a couple of fountains in my backyard and keeping the pumps working has been a challenge with leaves and other debris. I purchased this as a "Why Not" purchase meaning why not give it a try, nothing else seems to work.Since putting the pumps into these bags, the pumps keep on running, the pumps don't get clogged like they used to and they are easy to keep clean. Great value and I have bought this product again.

First I will say it’s a sturdy bag, but the holes are far too fine it Clogs easily and starves the pump rapidly unless pre filtered. Snails love to latch on leading to other issues…. It also doesn’t function well unless you get creative and build a frame to keep it expanded. Makes a great barley straw bag though. Waste of money as a pump protection product. Just get a pump with starvation and overload features and be done with it.

I'm glad that I purchased this bag based on the reviews that I saw on Amazon. I bought a solar pond pump for my 5 foot deep pond and I wanted to make sure the pond pump was secure in place. I made sure I ordered a bag that was a slight bit bigger than the pump so I could put some stones in the bag as weight. This was a great option and I actually got two bags even though I don't need the additional bag. The bag is sturdy, but if anything happens to it, I have another one for back up.
