Great sunshade and size!! But let’s be honest – it’s not a bomb shelter and never was intended to be. So when it’s super stormy and windy you should take it down…or you run the risk of it ripping and bending.It doesn’t come with any setup/takedown instructions, but luckily I’ve owned one before so I pretty much knew what to do.One thing I learned really quickly that warrants your attention: The 4 ropes to stake down the canopy are super flimsy. The ropes broke within weeks. So I put my thinking cap on and came up with a great solution. I bought 8 stainless steel carabiner hooks (4 to put on each stake; 4 for to put on each corner of the canopy) and about 30’ of stainless steel 1/8†chain. I cut the chain with a bolt cutter and connected it to the hooks on the stakes and canopy. That hardware will outlast the canopy and won’t weaken with the weather. Anchoring my canopy that way is amazing! I added 2 pictures to show what it looks like.Highly recommend spending the extra money for the hardware to make sure you successfully and effectively anchor your canopy. Reasonably priced and bought those on Amazon as well.

When I got this , I can’t wait to set it up even I live in the north part . It’s really heavy , 4 metal straight legs make it really sturdy . Easy to set up , it’s one piece frame with full awnings that are assembled . It’s waterproofing fabric with drain holes , legs are pinch free , push buttons for adjustment. The best part is double tops design , wind vented , helps to ventilate the interior and release trapped heat also increase the stability in the wind . We haven’t got the chance the test the sun protection yet because it’s still winter here but it’s with the silver coating inside , so I am sure it a good protection from the sun . Can’t wait for summer to have sun with my whole family to do barbecue under this tent !

Baught this to provide shade in our back yard. At up was fairly simple (easy 2 person job), not as simple as a standard pop-up tent. During the initial install, 2 of the ground stakes broke. Luckily a have bunch from other items I already own. After about a month the included tie down line completely disintegrated (turned into little puffs of white material blown all over our backyard). Not a problem, replaced them with some nylon cord from HD. A little over 3 months I noticed that the canopy was starting to rip too. Now a couple of weeks later I've taken it down before the winds start and notice that the canopy is dropping in the middle (not at a seem) and the whole thing feels supper brittle like the whole thing is about to fall apart. Good thing I got the extended warranty and can at least get some of my money back. After posting this review, the Cooshade reached out and sent a completely new canopy tent! Wow, thanks!

I like the frame and the ease of setting it up. I don't like the fact I got less than a summer out of this canopy. We have not had any high winds but some moderate ones. See the attached photo. The canopy stays attached to the seam has ripped twice with a short ownership. Very poorly designed. The hold downs need extra reinforced stitching. Other than the two tears I am happy with the canopy. Keeps tearing apart. Very cheap material.Seller told me I would receive a refund but I have not received it. I would stay away from this product.

This may be my best purchase ever. I am so amazed at how this canopy has performed. Purchased in Oct. of 2022 and have used since - year round in Seattle. We get some serious wind in my area and when it comes, all we do is pop the red buttons on each leg and lower this thing down to avoid trouble. In fact - that is how we store all our patio cushions - we put everything under and lower it for the whole season. When the sun comes out - up it goes - so easy! For wind resistance we bolted the legs to the deck and even though we left it up twice and the top blew off and frame inverted, no permanent damage to frame or material! Two years in and we are just starting to see some slits in fabric, so I will buy replacement fabric this year. After trying two retractable awnings (total fail) and several patio umbrellas (limited use) this is by far the best value and best performance. Happy, happy, happy!

I’ve only had this one summer and the canopy has already started to rip and tear. I tried to find a replacement canopy for the frame but was unsuccessful, even from the company website. But when I posted a review the company reach out and they sent me a whole new canopy & frame. So, although the canopy is a little thin, the frame is solid and customer service was great.

This was a great buy and good value for money. We’ve using it for many camping trips and it has survived through lots of rain. When the rain is really hard it does leak a little (some drops come down through the middle bit). But for the most part it’s kept our campsite dry. It’s also super quick and easy to set up.

I bought this canopy tent intending to take it in a park for a birthday party. So, I received it before the weekend and I decided to install it, first in the backyard, just to make sure I'd be familiar with the installation and no parts are missing. I live in the Toronto area and unfortunately, on the day it was received, it was forecasted extreme winds with lightning strikes and thunderstorms in the evening. I figured, that if it got destroyed, I'd just quickly return it. So I went ahead with the installation, anchored properly with the ropes and pegs provided, less the pegs that were supposed to secure the posts as it was over a paved area, and I didn't want to drill holes in the interlock bricks. Installation was easy and I installed it all by myself but I do recommend two people. It take about 10 minutes. Make sure, to expand the frame just partially, attach the dome's small canvas and the big canvas to the corners, and then fully expand the frame. The storm and strong winds came aggressively and passed the same way. The canvas tent didn't move one notch. I guess, the opening at the top helped a lot to release the wind pressure and the anchored ropes. It passed the extreme winds test successfully. I would be curious to see at the end of the summer if the fabric will pass the sun UV test. I do recommend this canopy tent.

Strong and easy to put up. We get bad winds here, but we anchor it as instructed. I suggest using stronger rope right off the start, though. Their rope will break and you may lose or break the canopy if you dont. This thing is large! Way more coverage than the usual 10x10. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

Haven’t used yet but opened once to check all the parts were there. Looks good. Very heavy! Wanted something truly water proof and not just a sun shade. Hopefully all will go well when we set it up camping. Will update later.Update: Used and loved it!! Was so easy to set up. Canvus held together. I do worry about how the seams came apart for some, as it’s a solid tight fit. Hopefully it’ll hold together over time. Plan to use this for years to come. It poured rain and it never leaked!

Such a high quality product, used all summer with minimal wear and tear. Easy to put up, easier with two people but just fine if you are alone. Packs away nice and tight.
