These pruners are amazing. They chop through 1-in branches like crazy and never seem to fail. The battery's last long and you can trim an entire tree in one charge. I highly recommend these pruners.

I'm a middle aged man, and I was worried this cordless pruner was designed only for grandmas who didn't have the strength to operate arm-powered pruners. I was pleasantly surprised to find this cordless pruner allows me to get the job done two or three times as fast, and is as strong as what I could do with my 36" lopers. Even better is that it can get in to tighter places than my lopers. It comes with a quality case for storage. I've put it through a couple weeks of use and abuse, and the steel still feels as sharp as new, which is better than the cheap steel used in 99% of consumer-grade loppers.Instructions:Double trigger - deactivates child lockHold trigger 5 seconds - toggle jaw opening from full to half open (or back). This helps save time when cutting a lot of small twigs.Things I didn't like:I didn't want to pay for the 2nd battery. One battery already lasts forever, and this tool is not power hungry like a chain saw or anything.The 5 second trigger hold is way too long.Batteries don't click into place like every other cordless tool on earth.

Sorry that I've been a few weeks before reviewing, but I bought this for my wife's birthday and since then we've been on vacation and never used it until last week. Let me tell you that this pruner is everything that a good pruner should be. It works extremely well, and, so far, I've cut branches off trees while trimming them up and it's very easy and quick cutting. The biggest diameter limb that I've cut is approximately 1" and believe me, this thing cut that limb in s split second. Also, I trimmed for a couple of hours and the battery never seemed to go down at all. I recommend anyone to not be afraid of buying this "off brand" item as in my opinion, it's as good or better than any major brand name.

My yard is high maintenance and I'm getting old. I've gone through many pairs of manual loppers and figured it was time to upgrade to a battery powered one. I chose this one over the many I looked at even though it's a bit pricier than some, and there were no reviews. I liked the vivid yellow color, it comes with two batteries, and, I thought, a spare set of blades. It DOES NOT come with a spare set of blades. I took away one star partly for that reason. The seller should remove the extra blades from the picture, because it definitely gives the impression that there's an extra set. I'll have to shell out another $20 to get spare blades. I had a lot of trouble installing the battery. I almost gave up because it just didn't seem to fit. I had to force it. I first used it without the extension handle then tried it with. At first it didn't work until I discovered an additional power switch that wasn't mentioned in the user manual. This switch is located inside the handhold where, once it's on, I tend to press it accidentally, turning it back off. I also find it hard to press two buttons at once. I know it's supposed to be a safety feature, but when a tool is awkward and hard to use, I'm more likely to have an accident. I wish it swiveled to the side instead of back to front. Sideways would make it a lot easier to cut close to the ground without bending down. I really can't imagine that swiveling backward and forward would be very useful.PROS: Has spare battery, yellow color stands out, blades are sharp and make quick cuts.CONS: No spare blades, extension handles hard to assemble, battery hard to insert, switches on extension handle are awkward to press.

These are great for the money; we have 5 sets that we use for 80 acres of annul hazelnut pruning. We are on year two with no issues after thousands and thousands of cuts. They can cut through branches that are 1/2"+ thick with no problem and can get though larger branches with an extra cut or two.

This thing is awesome. One thing, once you pull the trigger its going to cut anything in the jaws. It wont care if its a finger so always keep your other hand away from the jaws. This thing is no joke. Batteries last about 1000 cuts each

The product came as promised. It was packed very well. The case is secure and compact. The cutter is very easy to use yet does have a nice safety feature. The blades are sharp and cut very well. I am glad we purchased this.
