One of my favorite items that I have bought on Amazon. It works as advertised. I can take a box and cut it down to small pieces with ease. It's not like cutting butter but it cuts with ease. Very enjoyable and rewarding to use. I love this item!

A wonderful addition for the snow day cardboard building projects. The cutter is well constructed, easy to use, and for the cost it kept my 3 boys busy for hours, with as cheap as it is I may even buy 2 more to help minimize the arguments. thankfully the speed of cutting the the sharpness allowed for the boys to move quickly on their projects and fight less.

These electric scissors easily cut cardboard boxes to size for recycling. With peripheral neuropathy and loss of 50% of nerve control in hands, this is a godsend for me.

Bought mainly to break down cardboard boxes. Pretty good for the price! but I agree with other reviewers on a couple points:1) the ergonomics of the safety makes it cumbersome to use. Although it's not as bad an issue if you have larger hands. But my partner (who has small hands) can't use this at all2) It does get caught, require some muscle to force through anything beyond the thinnest cardboard.I think if you I did mass amount of box breakdown, I'd try more expensive/better quality ones. But for some light weekly box breakdowns, this is fine assuming it holds up over time!

I could not get this to cut regular fabric and it cuts with horrible jagged cuts that would be worse than scissors. The safety switch that you have to hold down to operate was located in an unnatural place to activate while using the tool.
