This is a great glue gun, and it is truly cordless. I'd looked at a few others, but they weren't actually cordless, they'd just stay hot for a few minutes after unplugging them. This one however, is great. I'm a teacher, and bought it this summer. I've used it a few times since then, but not for extended periods, until this week, when we were putting Christmas ornaments together. It heats quickly, melts easily, and is great at holding a charge. It put together 21 popsicle stick trains like it was nothing, lol.The only negative, and I hesitate to even call it that, because it's not a big deal, is that it doesn't stand up on it's own, so if you have to set it down during a project, you have to lay it down.

Listen. I bought a power tool glue gun a few weeks ago from Harbor Freight. It was $25 it came with no battery no charger port. But for $25 for a power tool gun I was like well it takes a 20v battery. Knowing I had a 20v battery at home I thought what a steal. For many years I have used a plug in glue gun and have wanted a Cordless for sooooo long. When I got home my 20v battery did not work. A few weeks later I finally returned to the store with the glue gun and come to find out that the name brand Harbor Freight uses is only good for their batteries and chargers. They wanted $30 for the battery and $30 for the charger all sold separately. Now I already paid $25 plus they wanted me to pay another $60 for a gluegun? Come on now I didn't think the Gluegun had speckles of gold throughout the thing but with tax it would have been over $100. No just no. Anyways I went to the car looked on Amazon and paid the same amount for this one that comes with the charger and battery as for the one that did not come with the charger and the battery. Bonus is that this one comes with a tip as the one from Harbor Freight did not. I saved roughly $75 just by buying this one. I let it charge over night. The next day I used it. I sware it took only 10-15 seconds for this bad boy to be heated up and ready to use. Yes it does drip as some have stated before. But like I said I have always used electronic ones that take about 5-10 minutes to heat up and they also drip. With this one it heats up so fast you can use the glue turn it off and turn it back on to use again and it's ready to use again in like seconds. Maybe less than 10 seconds. Saving the glue that is dripping. Did I mention when you turn it off it also cools down quickly so that way it's not wasting the glue that is dripping? So in my mind it saves more glue than using a electronic Gluegun. The electronic ones take forever to heat up and take forever to cool down. I have tried many electronic Glueguns before. Infact I have paid more for my past electronic Gluegun than I did this handy Cordless one. Yes the charging cord is short but it takes a C adapter so you can purchase a longer cord for it. It also does not come with the cord charging box but it's really not a big deal because many people have them laying all over their house. You can plug it into your computer, I charged it off of my Cricut so I don't really need a long cord, I am sure there are other electronics that you can plug this gulegun into. You can also purchase longer cords off of Amazon you can get 3 packs 15-20 feet off of Amazon for like $10. I never buy cords in the store. $20-$25 for one cord at the store viruses $10 for a 3 pack of wrapped cords at that so that way the wiring does not frey on the inside. I have had the best luck with C charging cords off of Amazon than in any store. I still have some I bought over 3 years ago working great. So in my mind I just saved tons of money. I also really love this Gluegun. Really happy with my purchase. I have absolutely zero compliments. Now to see how long it will last. Years, months, days, who knows. But as for now I am happy.

Pros: light weight, easy to use, heats up quickly, cordless and super cute!Cons: wasteful with glue-drips a lot, tips over when using-glue something go to set it down but tips over, have to put it down on its side.If you don’t use a glue gun daily, this one is great. If you use a glue gun daily, I would get a different one. IMO,…

Why oh why have I stuck with a corded glue gun for all these years when my crafting days could have been made so much more easy with a small investment into cordless territory. This glue gun is brilliant! Over the years I have had a few different glue guns, which to be fair, all work exactly as you would expect but I always found frustration in having to either glue near a mains plug socket or use an extension cable to reach my desired object. This cordless version just makes life simple and you can literally take this anywhere. It has a fair size built in 2000mAh lithium-ion internal battery which powers this little gizmo. It feels very well made and is solidly built yet surprisingly not too heavy. In fact it doesn’t weigh that much more than my regular corded gun. It looks stylish and is really easy to operate. The only thing you need to do is press the on/off button located on the top of the gun and wait the usual amount of time for the elements to heat up and away you go. Glue sticks are standard size and you get a bunch (30 in fact) included in the package to get you started. I can see no discernible difference between this cordless version and my corded guns other than the obvious lack of wires. It’s strangely liberating to be able to use this anywhere and not have to worry about a cord. I still find myself checking where the cable is each time I get up from my chair, lol. Two small LED lights show you how much power is left and wether the power is on and the gun has reached its optimum operating temperature. I have found you can get around 2 hours maximum constant use before you need to charge it back up. Recharge times are approximately one and a half hours from my testing. Now, I will point out that the gun recharges vis an included base/stand. The USB plugs into this element rather than the gun itself. It’s not a major issue due to the long working time, but one to be aware of for placement when in use.The glue gun heats up super fast as is ready to go in around 30 seconds and will reach its peak performance in just over one minute. It’s micro USB rechargeable and a cable is included for you. It also employs an auto shut off mechanism which cuts in at around 10 minutes of non-use so that’s good to know, particularly as I have been known to leave my old guns plugged in before - oops! The hand grip is very comfortable to use and in fact the whole gun feels great in your hand. The whole thing seems to be well made and feels robust and durable. With care I can see this lasting a long time to come. I really can’t fault this in anyway and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. A truly great product at a very reasonable price.

This is a review of the Gogonova Cordless Hot Glue Gun. It comes in a descriptive box with charging base and lead plus instructions and 25 (clear/natural colour) glue sticks. You start by reading the instructions first of all. To charge it up, use the base provided - there is a LED array on top of the gun next to the ‘on/off’ switch to show the charging status (see photos included in this review) although it didn’t take long to charge with the 5Ah built-in battery soon raring to go. In use it takes about 20 seconds or so from switching it on and squeezing the large trigger as it was pretty obvious it was more than ready. It takes the ‘mini’ type glue sticks (available in most craft shops and outlets) and ideal for craft work - daughter wants to use it for her card crafting already! Being cordless means you have more flexibility in movement: I have just used it to finish off a shop window display for a friend and this got into corners I could not have done so with my usual 'full size' mains operated glue stick gun with its trailing cable. Its perhaps worth noting that according to the instruction booklet, it has a 3 month guarantee - see photo. If any thing the colour is the biggest put off - a view shared by everybody that has seen it so far, but as it does the job, so perhaps a minor point.

Cordless glue gunThe glue gun is charged via a oval stand which has a USB-C connection (sort 40cm charging lead supplied, but no USB converter). You also get a set of glue sticks and an instruction manual.Easy to charge via the base, and you get 3 LEDS on the top which indicate the battery status or whether the gun is on and ready for use.In use it works fine on small jobs, with a decent sized trigger handle and comfortable grip. Haven't subjected it to a lengthy workout yet.Main issue is that the gun itself doesn't have a stand, so you have to lay it on its side when you put it down. It will stand up in the charging stand - but that rather defeats the purpose of the cordless aspect. The gun arrives in a branded brown cardboard box which has a lift up lid, a plastic insert keeps everything in place. It should act as a decent long term storage option. As you can only charge the gun via the special charging base - not losing the base is important.

This works perfectly: it heats up quickly and is really easy to operate to safely dispense hot glue (glue sticks are included). I previously had a budget glue gun which was just as straightforward but the nozzle was messier - this one also has the edge with the design and sturdy feel of it and it’s USB chargeable which means it’s cordless during operation which I like (my old one was mains powered). Great for small DIY and craft projects, no issues whatsoever.
