I already had several Dewalt products with batteries and charger, so this was a nice addition to my collection. The jigsaw works well and is light enough to use easily. It comes with several bits that provide the ability to use the jigsaw with a variety of materials. A bonus was that it fit into the carry bag I already had for my Dewalt cordless tools. I used this jigsaw for a small wood project I was doing at my house with good success. I recommend this product to anyone wanting to expand their collection of cordless Dewalt tools.

The price might be right, but the quality is disappointing. The stamped steel foot is no match for the solid build of an actual DeWalt saw, which this tool tries to copy. I didn’t even use it—after taking it out of the box and inspecting it, I decided to return it immediately. It just doesn’t feel as well-built as the real deal. While it’s $100 cheaper, I’ve learned that spending a bit more for higher quality is always worth it in the long run. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a better tool
