For $36, you get a tool that is portable, easy to use, and useful. I especially like that I can set my car’s placarded tire pressure in the pump, push the button, and just wait till it stops. The next time I use it, that pressure reading is still set. Also, as soon as I fasten the valve onto the tire stem, it reads the current pressure.Yes, you can use a Makita battery to power it, but it’s just as convenient to plug it into the 12V outlet that every car has, so that you don’t have to worry about whether your Makita battery is charged up. Note, however, that you may drain your 12V car battery this way!One more point: the pressure readings are accurate. My car reports the tire pressures once I’ve driven a block or two, and they match what the pump indicates. I like that much better than depending on a hand held pressure gauge, which may or may not be accurate.I will keep this thing in my trunk. Also, even though I have a compressor in my garage, this is much easier to use.

Pretty nifty gizmo. Mine was compatible with Makita batteries. Seems to work very well. Also works with the cig. lighter plug. Much better than a much cheaper Harbor Freight cheapie I bought years ago. I'd recommend it if you need the ability to pump up a tire or have a modest CFM pump.

I didn't want to pay for the actual DeWalt air compressor. This aftermarket works just as good. I like that the air hose is protected and has a quick connect/disconnect fitting. It would be nice if I can use this air compressor to pump up an air mattress. All it needs is an assortment of attachments. Other than that, a great little air compressor that can run off a DeWalt battery.Would recommend as an alternative.

Firstly I use dewalt cordless tools at work every day, so I've already got the batteries.Turns out when you use dewalt tools every day, you're probably going to get a flat tire or slow leak from running over something on the job site.This little compressor takes some time to inflate truck tires, but it certainly gets the job done!I've also used it to inflate dolly tires and the tires on my lawn mower, and for that it's super fast!I like that you simply set the psi and it shuts of when it's done.It also came with some other fittings for inflating basket balls and other things too.You can also run it from a cigarette lighter if you don't have dewalt batteries.

Purchased this for my roadside emergency vehicle. Take’s Milwaukee batteries. Looks similar to Milwaukee but 1/3 of the cost.Works great.

I was skeptical about an aftermarket product like this one but I am happily surprised. Fairly smooth compressor with a stable nonstick base keeps this from "walking" like so many others do. The auto shutoff was accurate, which surprised me and the clamp on filler end grabs well without too much effort. The Makita battery slips on effortlessly and is completely compatible. Seems to have a good runtime per charge. I'm happy enough with it that I'm getting another one for my buddy who hates his Ryobi as a late Christmas gift.

Good quality tyre pressure pump with alternative power connections.Good to have the option of battery or car 12volt system.Quickly blows up a tyre to the correct setting to the preset pressure.Handy to have the light assist as well.Useful to keep in the boot.
