I used this suede cording for prayer bead sets-the beads slide back and forth on the leather lace. Yes it worked and I don’t want to tell you that it was of poor quality, but as the beads slide the suede leather flaked which was different from other brands I used. It may be the “cut†and the length of the suede grain or it might be a stiff dye process-I guess how this lacing works for you will depends what you’re using it for-.

The shade is much lighter than the picture shows. Kept anyway as I needed it for both my house slippers and boat shoes I wear outside

The places where it has to be joined are not solid they fall apart very easily

This dark brown 3 mm suede cord breaks very easily under very little pressure. It's supposed to be strong enough for shoe laces. Instead, it is very weak. Also, the label on the spool does not indicate how much cord is on the spool. It is supposed to be 27 yards, but the label does not indicate length at all.
