I am very happy with this purchase. I’ve been shopping for an e bike for a long time. The price on this ebike was great and the quality did not disappoint! It is sturdy but not too heavy. The screen control is easy to use and helpful. Pedal assist is smooth and consistent. My husband and I have been out twice for a total of about 10 miles using the lowest pedal assist and the battery only went down 1 bar. I am so glad I bought this bike:))

This e-bike is impressive! Looks great, easy to put together, and strong! I am more pleased than I thought I would be. Great e-bike, very comfortable to ride and easy to use/learn. I recommend it! I would have paid $1000 for this at a bike store, but only pd $479! Wow! It’s only been almost a week so I will revisit this in 6 months and update.

My wife and I recently moved to a very hilly city and wanted a new set of e-bikes to explore the area and just have some fun! After researching many others that were well over $1000, we decided to go with these cheaper Actbest bikes because we weren't even sure if we would love biking around. With that said, these have been a GREAT investment for us! We've had them just over a month and we've now ridden just over 100 miles on them and we have had so much fun. Here's a (hopefully) helpful pros and cons list to consider when looking to buy these bikesPROS:- Cheap! These were nearly $1000 cheaper than many of the other main brand options- Surprisingly sturdy. We use the back rack to constantly haul things around with zero issues- Battery. Not only does it last multiple trips, but its detachability makes charging convenient- Power. For everyday distances and hills, the power is more than enough to help us concur hills!- Feature rich. The assist, throttle, shocks, disk brakes, rack, fenders, and lights are all awesome and usable- Customer Support. One of our bikes came with a broken tail light. Although we still haven't received the spare part, they have worked with us regularly to give us updates on when it will arrive at no costCONS- Requires a LOT of tuning. We had to spend several hours (after putting the bikes together) tuning both the brakes and shifting mechanism. Candidly, this made the first few outings a massive pain. Now that they are tuned, it's totally fine though- Shipping container. They came is very flimsy cardboard boxes. BOTH of our bikes had small scratches/dents/broken parts. This wasn't a big deal to us (we expect to be rough with the bikes over time), but can obviously be a deal breaker for others- Non-Consistent parts. I ordered the black bike and my wife got the pink bike and between our bikes there are several parts that are different (I.E. the seat and the handlebar mount) which just felt strange (especially because her pink bike had both a better seat and better handlebar mount!)- Power. I know I put this as pro, but I will say that for very steep hills, we do still have to work pretty hard with pedal assist to make it up! Really only a slight issue for massive hills though.Overall, I think these bikes have been more than worth it. Although it's obvious the bike does not use top of the line parts, it has been perfect for us as amateur bikers! I hope you all can enjoy these as much as we have!

Assembly is pretty straightforward, but the included wrenches don't fit all the bolts on the bike. Make sure you have an adjustable wrench handy and you'll be fine.The front fender's mounting hardware was drilled and mounted crooked on the fender, so it couldn't be installed without scraping on the tire. I didn't even bother installing it for fear of puncturing the tire...However, the rear fender comes preinstalled, and was similarly crooked. I did what I could to mount the supporting arms in such a way that the fender wouldn't come into contact with the tire.First ride around the neighborhood went fine, no issues. The second ride ended in disaster when I felt there was something wrong with the bike. I pulled off the road and sure enough, the rear fender had started dragging on the tire and tore a large gash in the tire and tube. The gash was large enough to take the tire from 55psi to completely flat in under five minutes.If you get this, and have any doubt that the fenders are built well, take them off immediately!***Edit: I got in touch with ActBest's customer service, and they were really cool about the whole thing. I sent some photos illustrating the issue, and they sent me not just a new tire and tube, but a whole new wheel (freewheel and brake not included). They also gave me the option of receiving new fenders, but I turned the offer down as it would have taken roughly a month to get here from their facility in China.Swapping the wheel out was at least as easy as doing the same on a pedal bike, all you need is a 12 spline 23.5mm/0.9in lock ring removal tool to move the freewheel over, appropriate wrench, and a set of torx drivers for the disc brake.Now, a few dozen miles in, the bike has been holding up well. It's far from the most powerful bike on the market, but it is fantastic for the $400 I bought it at. It won't eat any hills, but the motor can help you ride up inclines that you might otherwise have to walk your bike up.My only real complaint at this point is the small size of the crank. While it makes for easy peddling at low speeds, it becomes quite difficult to keep up with the bike once I hit approximately 15mph. After that point, it's all ghost peddling. I will probably swap it out for something larger in the future, even if that means the chain guard has to go and the mounting brackets have to be sawed off.Overall, this is an easy recommendation for a budget ebike, with the caveat that you really need to check the fitment of included hardware before use.

Bike is ok. Throttle and peddle assist isn’t instant - has a lag. Hand grips are leather type - I don’t think it will last long. Aside from that, it is a good bike and customer service was good and responsive.

The bike seems OK, but it was missing screws for the front handlebars. It also came with a bent and dented front fender. The brakes are rubbing. The directions were less than desirable. But the bike seems recently good for the price paid.
