Firstly, this smells like wool, I didn't smell any other scent on this product other than a natural wool scent. Perhaps some people find that to be an odd smell? Secondly, this product was clean, AND very soft. I used it to stuff a standard size pillow (not a fluffy type pillow but a sort of uniform flat pillow for back sleepers, the rise is maybe around 4 1/2 to 5 inches all the way around) and I love the density and bounce it provided. I'm buying another bag just to keep on hand. Hope this seller will continue to provide this product because now I actually want to do ALL of my pillows, which is a longevity project. With time though, it's my goal.

I am spoiled now and I never want to use anything else to stuff fabric creations with.Super clean and soft. Smell: I’m not sure what people are talking about when they say this has a strong smell that they dislike. To me, it has a slight smell that I would describe as both “clean†and “natural.†Like the way some flowers that have “no fragrance†smell. Or how your wool jacket might smell if you’re caught out in the rain. Then, once it’s enclosed in the object you stuff, it’s barely detectable, and even then, it’s pleasant, to me. If you want a completely odorless stuffing, go with polyester fiber fill. I think this stuff is fabulous, I’m totally in love with it.

I purchased this to stuff a few plush pillows and man is this a TON of wool for the price, great buy and very pleased! It is super soft and clean but you for sure want to air it out in a well vented place for a few days before using as the smell is very strong! That’s the only downside but it is so worth it to have such lush wool to work with! You will not be disappointed with this purchase! A family member of mine ended up buying a bag as well and it was just as perfect as mine was!

I might have spoiled myself. This is the second time I've bought core wool and this particular one is not as carded and dense as the one I got on Etsy. It felts well, but just seems lower quality than what I used previously. If I'm in a press for core wool again I will re-purchase, but again I am biased and will probably stick with the one from my usual seller.There is a smell, naturally smells like sheep or the fairgrounds livestock area. Doesn't stink to me, just brings back the nostalgia of living in a rural town. My particular bag wasn't completely clean and had to take time to pluck out some debris, which isn't much of a problem. I only have small annoyances with this product. Definitely try it out if you want a deal on core wool

I recently got into Needle Felting and have been trying out various wools, techniques, tools, etc. I was a bit skeptical of receiving so much wool and worried about the quality but I clearly didn't need to be! The wool is very clean in addition to being very soft while still being coarse enough to make felting easy and hassle-free. It's also perfect for creating your base/core as there is so much of it. It also doesn't have a smell that some wools do.

This product is amazing. So soft and once you have used this, you'll never use want to use that cheap polyfilll again. I am making heirloom, hand knit Christmas balls (Arne and Carlos book). The designers suggested natural wool and for the amount of time spent making these ornaments- I wanted to use only the best so I ordered this. I will never again use anything else. It is superior in every way and well worth the money.

Schnelle Lieferung, Wolle hat eine sehr gute Qualität, kein Geruch und lässt sich super Trockenfilzen. Preisleistungsverhältniss stimmt. War nur etwas erschrocken als mir aufgefallen ist das die Wolle aus den USA kommt.
