I found this shelf to be well made. I ordered the 16 inch shelf which is 3/4 inch thick. The shelf differs from their picture in that the point has been removed to allow a small cord to be fished through. Installation is much easier if you have an "L" square. Put the "L" square in the corner against one wall and draw a horizontal line at the height you want the holes of the shelf. Then flip it to the other wall and draw a horizontal line there. Hold the shelf up to the wall with the holes at the height of the lines and insert a sharp pencil into each hole to mark the verticals where you will drill. I always drill a small pilot hole to make sure everything is all clear behind, then use an in-between bit and then the proper bit for the holes to keep the holes on center. Squeeze the flaps of the toggle together and insert into the holes. Push the toggle all the way in flush with the wall or tap lightly with a hammer. Insert the screws through the shelf and screw into the toggles. If your walls are not 90 degrees (and they probably aren't), it is best to have a few small flat washers on hand to insert between the shelf and the wall.

The build quality is great. It’s solid wood, just as described, painted well, even includes an extra screw and a small level. Very attractive and I’m happy with the purchase.The issue is that the opening in the back isn’t large enough for a standard electric plug to fit through once you’ve anchored it to the wall. I fixed this by cutting 1/4†off the back with a band saw and then painting the exposed wood with primer. It works perfectly for me now and looks just as good.If you don’t have the proper tools to make that cut, and will want to be able to feed a cord through the back once it’s in place, just know that it may look a little bit messy if you modify it yourself. Hopefully the manufacturer will modify their build to leave a slightly larger gap in the back.I’ve attached photos showing the amount I cut and the (new) properly sized opening.

I like it it's a very good quality Shelf and it's nice wood very sturdy and I put my dogs ashes in the box from paw print so even if he's not here I can always look up at him so I bought that just for the paw print box just so I could see my fur baby

Installed with the included mounting hardware and shelf was wobbly beyond use. Had to uninstall and re-install with different hardware.
