I broke the one my wife uses in the garden when I was trying to pry out a paver stone from the patio. I promptly bought another one because its such a nice tool that she uses all the time. Don't tell her I broke her previous one....

I love how strong it is. I don’t worry that it will snap or bend while I’m using it. Good comfort grip too. It’s very easy to clean off after a day in the garden.

OK, what can you really say about a hand shovel? First off, this thing is stout. I purposely tried bending it with my hands because I have heavy clay soil that likes to eat trowels. Pretty stout, I couldn't bend it at all. Nice handle.The only dig I have on this is that the back of the shovel says "China". I don't know why I thought this was American made - maybe from their website, though I can't say for sure - but I purposely bought this one thinking it was a US made tool. If it is US made, it is made with Chinese metal. Does it make the shovel any better or worse? Probably not but I try to buy all American-made tools, so that is a downside.

I love this trowel! It has a very comfortable handle and a deep scoop. It's perfect for potting plants and transplanting in my garden.

I almost didn't order this trowel based on the reviews here that said the strength was poor. I am very happy I order it as it is a great little tool and the strength seems very high.Other reviews indicated the trowel broke on use. The one I have would be very hard to break. I applied 50 pounds or so of weight on the tip and there was no deflection or damage at all.

Used my last trowel (different brand) for several years with no problems. This Corona trowel is well made and comfortable in the hand. Hope it will last several years, too.
